This was my mother and I first time eating here. We wanted to try something local. The generals was crispy on the outside but a little mushy on the inside. The chicken fingers are low quality manager special tenders from market basket with the white tendons in it......thats what turned me off the most. The general had a weird after taste. I wont go here again... the lady at the counter acted like she does not speak english. Replying what? not excuse me. Idk i would not reccomend this to people i care about

I ordered delivery. The man that delivered was nice/friendly.I ordered 2 x beef lo mein, 2 x beef teriyaki and 3 x chicken fingers, so not a cheap order.I threw away both bags of beef teriyaki because it was chewy/gnarly with sort of a thin mushy coating and a strange flavor that did not taste like anything “teriyaki” that I’ve had before. My son took a bite and spit it out.The beef lo mein had the same chewy coated issue with the beef, so skipping the beef when I eat this. It’s worth noting if you’re not into onions that there were a TON of onions, like one had a partially chopped quarter of an onion. I am a picky eater so I sort my food and remove the things I don’t want to eat. I don’t know if they ran out of beef lo mein or if this is normal, but they put noodles in the container and then topped it off with the onions and beef, so it was actually easier to sort through. The noodles themselves are pretty good. The chicken fingers were pretty good also.First pic has the onions and beef from the first order of lo mein I sorted. Then pics showing you what I mean about noodles on the bottom. Final pic with all of the onions/beef from the 2 orders, 2nd order with the big onion kn the plate and the 1st order in the plastic bag. I don’t have pictures of the teriyaki but just imagine the beef from the lo mein but longer and on a stick.

I called in an order . When I got there I payed then while leaving I looked in the bag and it was the wrong order. The women looked at me like I was lieing. Then she got the right order charged me more running my card again. When I got home the food was horrid. I have been going there for years but will never go again. The place looks like a dump and the new people are just there for your money.

Meis is AWESOME. Food is really good, especially if you go in and sit to get it fresh. Kevin specifically is so kind and it’s a pleasure talking to him while eating great food. Highly recommend the general tsos and “meat buns”. SO GOOD!!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this restaurant walking into it. It's the type of place that's either going to be absolutely horrible or it's going to blow your mind. I'm happy to say it was the latter. We got fried dumplings starter, crispy beef, and beef and broccoli dinners. Everything was expertly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and very home made. I live out of town but this place is absolutely worth driving for. Can't recommend enough.

Our first time trying Mei's we decided to order our typically preferred items so to be able to fairly compare the results. We were very pleased with the overall taste, especially the fresh and properly cooked vegetables. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity. Our order was ready exactly in the time estimated. Great service!

The food waaas so good! Me and my husband loved it, I give it a four stars because the place is not the prettiest and they could definitely upgrade the menu so it has everything updated, but overall really recommend to try the food!

Their sesame chicken is the only sesame chicken I have ever liked. Everywhere else makes it gross with some brown sauce. I’ve always enjoyed their other foods as well. They have always been friendly whenever I have gone there. Glad to have this business so close to home.

My fiancé grew up in pembroke and took me here for a date… we waited at the desk for 10 minutes and rang the bell twice before someone came outside. they took our order at the counter, didn’t ask if we wanted to dine in. We sat ourselves down at a table and waited for our food which was placed on the table by the desk we ordered at in a brown paper bag, with no plastic utensils or napkins. They clearly did not want us to sit down and eat there… seems like something weird is going on. Not sure how they’re even in business. Oh and the food was nearly inedible. A hard earned $40 wasted!

I've tried this place a few times. Someone always convinces me to give it another go, but it's just as terrible as before. They need to shut down and be replaced by a better Chinese place. How can you fail at your own culture so badly?
