Vibes and drinks were sooo good. Was looking for a cool Irish bar to hang out in for an hour or so and was pleased to find the Coldest Coronas on this side of the Mississippi. Can’t wait to be back!

Spent a rainy afternoon here. Great drinks & food. Friendly & fast service . An "old school" neighborhood bar with a juke box. Their French fries are as good as advertised.

The food we've had has been pretty good. The outdoor seating on warmer days is awesome. Great jukebox. Good drink selection. I'd give it five stars except some of the bartenders are selectively friendly.

Checked out Dwyer’s Pub on a whim and it quickly became a favorite. The vibe is cozy and the staff make you feel like a local the second you step in. Loved the draft list - diverse and full of quality picks. The fish and chips? Spot-on crispy and flavorful. Dwyer’s is the kind of place that turns a quick drink into an evening out. Can’t wait to return!

Really enjoyed this pub. Our bartender, Ally provided astounding service, well-made drinks, and was very friendly. Food was excellent. The atmosphere is fun, and we loved the jukebox!!

This is my first time here and I went to order drinks, this lovely bartender name Ally really helped me decide which drink I should order because I'm new to the pub. She's so kind, smart and beautiful. I don't find many people that can make me want to buy more drinks but this girl is funny and cute

Francis was fantastic. Had the best food and drink this side of the Atlantic. We'll be back 100%.

Went here on Friday night. Of all my years of going to Portsmouth I've never stopped or checked it out. It's kind of hidden on the other side of the popular area. Came in and found a few spots at the bar. Both bar tenders were extremely attentive and nice. Made conversation and even told me the Juke box was free! Had some fried pickles and were delicious. Drinks were very good. As the night progresses it got busier and louder. Really awesome place to hangout. It smaller but one of the better places to hangout in Portsmouth. Well done!

Really enjoyed stopping into Dwyer's Pub. Now it isn't a real feel Irish Pub having been to (ahem) a few. :D Also I didn't have anything to eat so can't speak to that but the place had a cute/fun feel to it, it was a great night outside so I sat in their outside patio. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, the Guinness was great (anyone who knows a "good Guinness" from a not so good one/bad one - this was a fine pint!) and the chill vibe outside with great music playing was relaxin. This spot is on the edge of the downtown area and was a much enjoyed break from the more crowded and frankly (some) obnoxious places downtown. If you're looking to grab a quick drink or sit with friends and have a couple in a less "downtown-y" setting, I think Dwyer's is a good choice!

Came here based on the reviews. Stopped by for lunch on a weekend afternoon and it was really quiet. Thought that was a bit strange as it was a really nice day out. All of the food that we tried was just bad. Over fried and burnt. Couldn't tell the difference in taste between the fish and shrimp tacos. The honey glazed chicken tenders were way over cooked and tasted terrible. The fries were also over fried and over cooked. No idea how everything was so bad but I can only image it was an off day for the kitchen. Service was good and the drinks were ok but we came to eat and it was a huge let down.

I'll try anything Irish (the pub is described as 'equal parts local bar and Irish pub' ). When I walked in, Johnny Cash was playing on the jukebox -- no Irish music session here! I had the chicken and waffles, which was subpar -- the 'crispy' chicken tenders were overcooked and the 'waffles' was one big waffle. The 'Tristan' Mai Tai was unlike any Mai Tai I've ever had -- it didn't look or taste like one. I thought I was given the wrong drink. The atmosphere had nothing Irish about it except for the Ireland flag and Guinness, but the bartender was from Ireland, so that's something. There's a patio out back but it's hidden from the street and not really visible from inside the pub.

We absolutely loved the vibe in here. We did make a reservation but I'm not entirely sure if it was needed, maybe we caught them on a slower part of the night. As we were leaving almost every seat was taken. We sat at the bar were two fantastic bar tenders took care of us. They had a great cocktail and beer menu.We decided to share some things, the brussel sprouts, spin dip( a special that night), and the buffalo chicken mac and cheese. All so tasty. The mac and cheese was surprisingly not overly heavy like most you get out.Very excited to go back when we get a chance.Parking: Park mobile is available in the area. However on a busy day/night it can be tricky.

Nice solid Irish pub with cold beer and friendly service. Touch Tunes juke box. Nice indoor seating. Didn’t see an outdoor patio.
