Great restaurant! First thing I noticed is the happiness of the employees o thing but smiles. Everyone working helped each other and they seemed to be a team who enjoys working with each other because of that our service was impeccable. From drinks to the food everything was delicious. We started with fried calamari cooked perfectly, we had warm rolls served with soft butter ,roasted garlic and olives. We ordered the salmon and monk fish both cooked with so much flavor and the presentation was beautiful. Then for dessert we ordered the banana cake new on the menu I’m not a sweet eater but this was perfect not too sweet…..definitely everyone should visit this restaurant.

Best all around experience we have had in a very long time. Wonderful service (Marilu), great drinks and fantastic food. All four of us loved the 3 apps we shared, the entrees and dessert. Fresh seafood without the fishy smell. The smells were just yummy. We highly recommend this place when in the Portsmouth area.

Probably one of the most professionally run and consistent seafood restaurants I have ever been to. I have lived in New England my whole life and I am 50.

Nice 1950's themed fish restaurant that disappointed with bland food. Haddock dinner was a very small portion surrounded by tasteless soupy mashed potatoes and delightful green beans. The capers gave the fish some flavor. Filet medallions of beef were ok served in an unimpressive brown sauce with those same tasteless mashed potatoes and tasteless broccoli. Staff was very friendly and removed the cost of our wine after asking how the meal was. Bread before the meal came with both butter and roasted garlic as well as a fish spread on toast starter. Crowded room so maybe our meals were not up to norms!

Food was not good. Seafood Fettucine included 2 jumbo wet scallops a few soggy shrimp and what appeared to be lagostino "lobster claws" out of a can. The pasta was flavorless and had a strange texture. Sauce bland. Wife had "tenderloins" which weren't so tender, mushrooms soaked in vinegar, bland mashed potato. The "Chef?" Should be ashamed. Busboy whisked away 75% of food I didn't eat waitress never inquired how things were. Sorry Jumpin Jays but Total bummer, drove long way for a bad meal.

Table ready right on time, as reserved. Service was excellent. Cocktails were delicious. Raw oysters were lovely, with explanations of their origin. Swordfish was overcooked (dry). Linguini with clams had 2 clams (yes, apparently 2 allowed a restaurant to use a nouns plural form). Tasted like I was eating macaroni & cheese with 2 clams. So heavy, so disappointing. Frostbite salad tasted like it had straight orange juice for dressing (although the menu says it was supposed to be a ginger mandarin, it was overwhelmingly orange). We'll find an alternative dining option when next in Portsmouth.

Excellently prepared seafood. For both the tuna and scallops, just the perfect level of heat (not raw or well done) which is not easy. Creative cocktails and excellent service from the whole staff. Minimalist, funky decor.

The food was excellent. We dined on a Tuesday, which happened to be a buck an oyster. Fresh and delicious! I had the monkfish. The taste was very lobsterlike. Excellent food and good service too.

One of the best meals I have ever had. The Oyster were shucked well, no cuts on the belly or pieces of shell and the liquid was still inside. The swordfish and scallops were cooked perfectly.
