I’m only rating today’s sandwich—overall, I really like Moe’s. But I got a veggie sandwich at the Portsmouth location today that wasn’t the best. I was really looking forward to it, even got a whole sandwich when usually I only get a half. Didn’t watch them make it, only realized when I got home that there was barely any veggies in it. I couldn’t get one bite where all the fillings were there—I’d get a bite of tomato, but no pickle, peppers, or onion; then a bite of pepper and onion, but no tomato or pickle… Just not the value or experience I was hoping for. When you get a sandwich with no meat, you kind-of expect better-than-just-topping portions of other ingredients. So I basically just had cheese and bread. :( It’s not usually like that. Not sure what happened today.

These subs give me life. I don't know why or how, but ill finish one and then immediately crave another.

Went to Portsmouth, with the intention of getting a sub at Moes for lunch. Employee came out to pet a dog. Not only pet the dog, but hold it all up in her face and all over her shirt. She came back in and used a lint roller on her shirt and walked over and said, can I help you. No handwashing. We had to walk out.

My first sub was in Portsmith New Hampshire 1973 and it was great! I live in Maryland now, and I make my own Moe’s Sub! But if I ever get to Portsmith again, I will certainly go to Moe’s

Extremely impressed with the food quality, customer service, and prices at Moe’s. We stopped by the Daniels St location in Portsmouth hungry for lunch. Orders were ready quickly and the sandwiches were delicious. If I happen to come back I will definitely be stopping in again. Can’t recommend their subs enough!

Some folks in Portland, ME told us we should stop by this sandwich spot on our visit to Portsmouth. I personally didn't think it was all that special.

If you are a vegan or veggie freak. This place is for you. They give you no meat on the sandwiches. I prefer actually getting meat on a sub in which case there’s 20 better options in Portsmouth

Craving (once a year) an "Italian".. Ordered Lg (Italian) w/ everything (said hots)" .. Moe's in Gas Sta, on Lafayette, Portsmouth (across St) .. 3 slices of Salami / 3 slices Provolone, very few toppings, No Wickles / no hots.. "Lame Sub" (& a joke for 10 bucks like a lame Subway Sub ) ..

Had to try this place as it's right across the street from my new office, I love Italian subs but the Mad Sicilian was kind of a let down. They don't offer to toast buns and didn't even ask what I wanted on it until I saw her start making it and I had to specify what I did and didn't want, kind of standoffish attitude. Onions were WAY overpowering and stayed with me for the rest of the day.

So I guit eating meat years ago and don't live in an area where they have a Moe's, so when I went to NH on a vacation I decided to try a Moe's vegetarian sub. Let me tell you, the sub was out of this world!!! I truly miss having a Moe's in my 'back yard' the best subs in the world!!!!!!

Really confused on the allure to moes… they give you exactly one or sometimes two slices of thin meat on the Italian…. It’s essentially a veggie sub for full price. Moes is the worst subs in town. Go to Honey Ham and subs or market basket for an italian. Go to Moes if you like being starving after eating and hate meat!
