Go back to your old recipe for gumbies!!!I have always LOVED the food. I came in about 1.5-2 years ago and got a salad and gumbies, they were just as I remembered. Then I went in today and ordered take out which I waited an hour for (that's not the issue). I live in Maine now but was in the area and CRAVING the gumbies. I am so disappointed. I drove an hour back home only to open the box and see they aren't as they used to be. They used to be SO delicious. They used to be strips of chicken that was cooked PERFECTLY with just the right amount of crunch and the chicken was NEVER dry. These today were dry, so dry. They are no longer strips but more like nuggets (maybe that's why they are dry?), and the flavor wasn't even that great. I spent $70 on 1.5 lbs of them, Mac n cheese and pot stickers. The pot stickers were AMAZING, hopefully the Mac n cheese is as well. They need to go back to the old recipe for gumbies

Ate outside, pulled pork mac was probably the best I've had yet. There blackened chicken Ceasar was great. Service, food, pricing, portions and parking all perfect. Will be back!

Had the prime rib special, it was a great price and a great cut cooked just right. The asparagus was grilled with a nice slight char. The staff was great. My side salad was chilled perfectly with a good portion of dressing. My only "little" complaint, the little square bowl it was packed into, resulted in a lot of the salad falling out onto the table no matter what I did. Everything else was perfect for myself and the rest of my party. If in the area I would visit again but ask for a larger bowl to put my side salad in.Great food·Great value·Creative cocktails

Asked the bartender to change the rap music station.Told me no way and to bad. Told her she's working for the tips !She threw me out and called the cops..I waited for the cops and she trespassed me from the property.I'm really ok with that.....Why spend your money in place that cannot accommodate a customer request. The bartender looked like snooky from jersey shore with even less mentality.Spend your money elsewhere as the bartender thinks she is the owner...Anyplace else would fire her ....Terrible customer service and I'm filing a complaint with NH ABC against her and the place...

While the food was good, the service was dismal with bartender Amanda. We ordered appetizer first, nachos & chix nuggets; it took over 50 minutes for this to get this simple order. We attribute this to the fact Amanda doesn't run any food, and the food sat in the kitchen too long. The nachos had cooled enough that the cheese siezed up as it cooled making a solid block. The chix nuggets were heat lamp warm. After 40 min, before getting approved, we ordered meal which took 20 min because someone else ran the food. UNACCEPTABLE. It could be the owners fault for not having more than one person at the bar, but she had plenty of time to chat.Appz were pulled out of bag frozen, but the tacos were very tasty & well prepared. Plenty of TVs in bar area to watch sports, but the location is not up front. Doubt we'll be back here.

Came here for the Patriots game today and everything was awesome! The food was excellent and they had great deals for the NFL games. The sangria was delicious but I’d avoid the mermaid mimosa. Amanda, Danielle, Lorna and Nicole were attentive and great bartenders! I even met the owner Kevin and he was very kind and personable. Overall I will definitely be back!!! Awesome sports bar with great, welcoming staff for someone who just moved to Portsmouth!!

Great sports bar. The food was hit or miss: the loaded fries, mac and cheese, and baked beans were amazing but the wings, ribs, and pulled pork were pretty disappointing. It’s a great place to watch sports if you only want apps or don’t care too much about food.

This place is in a basic kinda strip mall and oddly situated, which I was fine with. It was Friday evening and surely the happy hour was in full swing and unfortunately I didn't find a seat at the bar. So found a table in the barroom, the waitstaff was okay but it seemed scattered as to who would meet folks at the door if it's their first time there, that seemed not a regular thing maybe due to it possibly being more local people just seat themselves. This was probably the loudest bar I have ever been in, this is from previously bartending and playing in bands for 25+ years. The (modern country) music was absolutely blaringly loud which of course only has the din of the room get louder and louder. I've never moved from a table because of noise in a restaurant or bar, never. I had to do that and move to an outside table being I literally couldn't sit there with the amount of noise and enjoy myself at all. I had ordered a Guinness and it was plain awful, tasted like vinegar was in it and the keg had clearly gone bad. I really hope that keg was taken off the line!! Thankfully that was taken off the bill and there wasn't more I really wanted beer-wise, the sandwich I had was good but the entire experience was so frustrating that I don't see going back again. I'm into having a great time and happy hours but someone, somewhere in that place should have had some insight to turn the tunes down a bit so everyone didn't have to yell to talk with one another.

Obsessed! Really fun and great food. Now all I want is their Cajun chicken sandwich!
