Delightful restaurant in the historic district in Portsmouth! Very friendly, super attentive service! Zoe excellent wait person! American tapas; small bites meant to share. Fab beef sliders ? and super good and authentic Italian sausage mini sandwiches. Loved the crispy Brussel sprouts cooked in the style of Carciofi alla Roma! Both the mini Whoopie pies and cinnamon beignets were fab!! Great place with super convenient location. Parking is expensive in the whole area but plentiful. Great and super fun dinner!!!

We walked in without reservations on a Saturday night, but the host was super friendly, and found two seats at the bar for us. We really enjoyed sitting at the bar to socialize and watch the bartenders at work. Definitely come hungry and ready to try a bunch of items. The presentation of everything is beautiful, we LOVED the fried clams and crab cakes. We tried a sangria and a scotch that had a s'more garnish. Loved it. We had coffee after our meal, and even that was served really thoughtfully. Can't wait to come back!

First time here and would definitely recommend! Very cool atmosphere and delicious, interesting food. It's a tapas style, so smaller plates for sharing, but everything was very good. Try the cornbread. Mussels were exquisite. Loved the french press coffee with desert. Will definitely be back.
This was my first time at Moxy. I thoroughly enjoyed it! The food was tremendously great with professional service.I don't see how anyone could complain about Moxy at all.I will definitely return.

Honestly had high expectations for an establishment that had multiple James Beard nominations over the last few years. Food was visually plated well but lacked unique and distinctive flavor. The space is a small, hip spot with a main dining area and loft. Service was casual but efficient.
Outstanding! A must try and return. What a find. OMG the Marinated beets. Short rib marmalade to die for. New England dinner an amazing gastronomic pleasure. You miss this place, you lost out.

I think I have a new favorite restaurant in Portsmouth! I can’t believe I have never been here before. Ate at the bar, and Jessie was great. Excellent cocktails and she was very friendly to everyone. Had the crispy pork belly which was great and the pan seared chicken thighs which were incredible! Crispy, boneless with 2 sauces, one which was blue cheese. Comes with bib lettuce to make wrap. Has crispy onions and sliced ginger. Really an amazing dinner. I plan on coming back tomorrow for the short rib marmalade and the chicken thighs. It was really that good!
