The food is very good and tasty, varied menu optionsMy review is related to poor Management and customer service in handling take out customers during shortage of staff. I called for take out around 6pm today, as I have done many times, and was informed the restaurant was not accepting take out orders until 7pm. I called back at 7pm and was told take outs would not be accepted "until later". The staff on the phone was rude when I pointed out they had not been upfront earlier. I support a lot of other businesses facing shortage of staff, never have questioned nor complained about the limited menu, I understand the challenges shortage of staff imposes. The point here is the lack of principled management. I get it is a good night for the restaurant and wait staff, awesome! However, the business owes to ALL customers handling business in an honest and upfront manner, which was not the case tonight.

We had dinner here after an evening sailboat ride. The staff is super friendly, was nice enough to seat us when we arrived a bit earlier than our reservation, and helpful with suggestions. The food was amazing. My son and I ordered an assortment of their snacks and one was more delicious than the other. Get them all!

A small menu, and extremely good tasting food. Has a good mix of vegan, veg, and meat plates. A really cool little place with friendly servers. Highly recommend and we'll be back!

Always love grabbing food here. Great cocktails and the menu seems to change regularly which I really enjoy. At this point I've probably tried everything on the menu and don't have a complaint about any of it. If I had to pick a favorite meal it's probably the teriyaki salmon.

i love mr kim's! i got it at least once a week for take out during the height of the pandemic, i was a s***** for the the bulgogi and the tofu and the seasonal noodle soups they had to offer. i haven't been going as much lately because the menu has changed a little and i really miss my two favorite comfort foods that they had and getting take out with them has also become a little more difficult, which is understandable considering restaurants can operate at full capacity and they often look very busy. can't wait to see what you guys put out for the fall!

Excellent service!! We popped in on a Friday night on a whim knowing nothing about the place and having no reservation. Even though we saw several open tables they told us they would happily seat us in 15 minutes. We were politely told it was because the server had just had a few tables sat and they wanted to make sure we had great service. I know this would have annoyed some people who have never worked in the service industry but we greatly appreciated it and did in fact have great service. Our server was friendly, happy to give more info on the menu and came through with a great drink recommendation!! On to the food...we tried 3 dishes and all 3 were yummy!! The bacon jam in the Kimichi Burrata was on point! The curry cauliflower and zucchini had great flavor. We wished we had some bread to soak every last drop up! And the Pork Buns were great! The only down side was the size of the menu. I really wish they had a few more options. It would make going back again more interesting. On the flip side, do a few things really well rather than lots of things so so. We would definitely return to try the rest of the menu items!

OMGGGG EAT AT THIS PLACE! absolutely everything was amazing. The drinks were so good. The service was chill and so great. I’ve been roaming around Maine and NH for the past two weeks and this has been the best meal I’ve had so far. Get the shrimp and mango civiche!

Great Asian fusion! Small cute intimate. Casual funky. Had a great time. Could have used some more napkins. Staff was courteous and hard working. Will go again!

This place is surprising, we are next to Maine and no lobster on the menu! That is good when you have a lobster allergy. The seating was a bit limited, but I think there was more upstairs. The food was good-but the bulgogi had some hot sauce on it. Overall, you should go there sometime!

Very limited menu, Beef Bul Go Gi with shaved steak. Meat was dry, under seasoned. Good Kimchi. I may just be spoiled by other Korean restaurants I have eaten at in the past.

Really enjoyed the cocktails, food, and service. We ate inside, which on a busy Portsmouth night made all the difference. Our experience was extremely positive! Will happily visit again!

Literally the best dumplings I have ever had.

For my first time out dining in about a year -- this was a solid 5 star spot. The miso mushroom noodles were incredible and the fried chicken and seaweed salad were great starters. More than the food, the space is hip and trendy -- dark wallpaper with gold tigers kind of trendy. Was so happy to break a year's streak of only eating in and feeling like eating Burger King in parking lots was as fancy as life got lol.
