Nestled in the heart of Salem, NH, Copper Door presents itself as an inviting destination for a memorable dining experience. Recently, I ventured there with my girlfriend and her siblings along with their significant others, eager to indulge in an evening of good food and company. Upon arrival, the ambiance exuded warmth and sophistication, setting the stage for what I hoped would be an unforgettable meal. To kick off the evening, I opted for an espresso martini, and I must say, it did not disappoint. Rich and flavorful, it served as the perfect prelude to the culinary delights that awaited. For starters, we decided on the calamari, and it proved to be a wise choice. Crispy yet tender, each bite burst with flavor, leaving us eager for more. However, my enthusiasm waned when my girlfriend's Moscow mule arrived. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations, appearing rather watered down--a minor disappointment in an otherwise promising meal. Moving on to the main course, I selected the sirloin shepherd's pie, and it surpassed all expectations. The savory blend of tender sirloin and hearty vegetables nestled beneath a blanket of creamy mashed potatoes was a true delight for the palate. Each forkful offered a symphony of flavors that left me craving more. Regrettably, my dining experience took an unexpected turn when, in the early hours of the morning, I fell ill. While I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at Copper Door, it appears that it came with an unexpected consequence. Despite this setback, I must commend the establishment for its delicious fare and inviting atmosphere. In conclusion, Copper Door stands as a premier destination for a memorable date night, albeit one that comes at a slightly higher price point. While my experience was not without its challenges, I would not hesitate to return, hopeful for a more seamless dining experience. For those seeking an upscale dining experience in Salem, NH, Copper Door undoubtedly remains a worthy contender.

Food and service was great. Had two appetizers - chicken lettuce wraps and ahi tuna. Yummy. Martinis with blue cheese stuffed olive were awesome: )

I was just screwed out of my reservation for a family reunion of 12 people that I reserved online 2 weeks ago. I had to reserve it for 5pm, rather than 2pm, because of availability. Before arrival, I was given an excuse that sounded more like a lie that I was mistaken. Either way, I asked if they would resolve this and was told they can't support a party of 12 forcing me to cancel our reunionI've eaten here before. Food is just OK but, debateable of being worth the high prices. I've reserved a table in the past for 4.without issue. I feel because it was a larger party of 12 they were copping out.

Overpriced. Overrated. Sat at the bar and the service was absolutely atrocious. Was ignored constantly. The entrees came out almost immediately after our salads. The bartender, a kid named Steven, was rude, slow, and inattentive. One of the worst experiences I've had in my life.

I am giving this restaurant five stars because it is consistently the best in and around the Salem NH area. Very good effort on the new Creole Shimp-a-laya added to the menu. Great flavor, except for too many onions for my taste.

We came here on a busy evening and the staff bent over backwards to get us seated on a Friday evening! That alone was outstanding! We had stuffed haddock and the seafood casserole, both excellent, gotta say it, the seafood casserole had a better sauce, beautifully lemony, drinks were not expensive, even the 14 year old neat Glenfiddich, 100% reasonably priced!

Food and service were great however I have constructive feedback for the parent company - while the website has all sorts of accessibility features, I was told when I called to make a reservation at the actual restaurant they only take them online - seems the most basic accessibility feature would be for people who don't have internet or don't know how to use it like older people to be able to call up and make a reservation.

We visited the Copper Door in Salem, NH on 4/06/24 with a 2o'clock reservation for a party of 4. Our server was Kelsey, and she was awesome. Unfortunately, the food did not hold up its end of the deal. Our entrees: Chicken Parmesan Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf Bourbon Bacon Beef Tips Seafood Stuffed Haddock Drinks: Sangria Red Sangria White Copper Door Cosmo Coca Cola Additional items: Copper Cupcake Crispy Tuscan Meatballs I'll save you the time and money. The food quality was right up there with Olive Garden, which means it left a lot to be desired. It was bland. Nothing special. Overpriced and not even close to being worth it. Drinks: Good, not great. Also, overpriced for the quality. Copper Door Salem. Don't waste your time. Don't water your money. We dropped over 200 bucks on lunch and have to say I really don't feel it was worth it at all. Sorry, Copper Door...You blew this one. Will not return and would not recommend. Once again, our server was awesome but the food spoiled it!

We done here about once or twice every couple of months. It had always been a pleasant experience. The service is good not long wait time. We always get the prosciutto Pizza which is delicious. Other detergents are pretty good too. It does get busy on weekends it's very packed but there is plenty of parking.
