A friend and I went to to Tomo on 02/18/2024 for a nice lunch. We sat at the bar which had enough seating for us to relax and enjoy our meal. We did order a quite bit for just 2 people but everything was fresh and delicious.We ordered the Blackened Tuna, Hamachi Kama , Spicy Tartar Tower, Spicy Tuna Gyoza, Pork Short ribs and Grilled Chilean Sea Bass for appetizers.The Blackened Tuna was the best ! It was fresh, seared and cooked to perfection. The Spicy Tuna Gyoza were a little over fried as you can see from the pictures but well within normal limits. The inside was warm and tasty.The Pork Short Ribs were tender and sticky with a tasty soy glaze. All in all everything we ordered was delicious. The only caveat was the Hamachi Kama was not quite as fatty as I was hoping for. IT was very good with some rice though.Our bartender was pleasant and prompt and overall the ambience was welcoming and warm. We have been any ties over the years and will definitely be back.

Worse restaurant ever, waitress was so mean took our group menu with a rush, didn’t even let us pick well our options rushing us to place order, After I received my dinner I found a hair on my salad and a bug on my soup. I don’t recommend this place at all

Yet another 5 star experience at tomo with their phenomenal sushi and perfect shrimp tempura (named rock shrimp on the menu) pad Thai was exceptional as always just like the shrimp Shumai and pork gyoza. The only hibachi and sushi restaurant worth every penny of your money ?

Tomo is a great restaurant for family fun! We go here quite often. I would definitely say that the lunch time crowd is a little more reserved/conservative than the dinner crowd where things get a little louder and more lively. I would give a five-star for food and service however oftentimes the bathroom is very uncleanly. There have been several times that the floor is flooded, it smells, and it is very dark. I will also note that it also depends on the chef that you get that makes your experience that much better or lackluster. Overall you will get a good meal and it is very popular. I would highly recommend but I avoid using the restroom.

We have visited many times before , usually sitting on the table side versus the grill side. Service was always slow on the table side but the sushi is good much higher priced compared to counterparts. Before today the only issue we ever had was with their 50% of sushi. Then send mailers out that advertise this. So we went and where told we were not allowed to do half price . That half price is only if you sit at the bar and also doesnt apply to children. So extremely misleading advertising. Tonight we went and decided to do hibachi. Not one time did the server remove dirty dishes or refill drinks as I watched her do with every single other table, so why not us? Then in the middle of us eating without even asking came and grabbed our soy sauce and gave it to another table who hadnt even received food yet . We still had sushi that we where eating in loo with our meal. Which led me to having to ask for it back and wait to get it back. I had my infant so I was a little slower to eat. Not to mention our sushi came out after our meal. The biggest straw to break the camels back was the fact that the chef gave both me and my 4 year olds meal to the opposite end of the table which led us to waiting 20 mins after he left to receive our food wich left my 4 year old in absolute tears. Part of hibachi is paying for the show. Horrible experience in which we left no tip for the server to grab our check and then complain about it behind us to fellow servers. I worked in hibachi for 3 years. I understand how it works. The experience tonight was embarrassing and down right awful from the establishment. Tokyo down the street may have been a better option.Parking: Parking at front ia one leading to all sorts of congestionKid-friendliness: Left my 4 year old in tears after giving his meal to someone else then we waited an additional 20 mins for his food after he had already waited the entire sit down period.

Food is ok, I ordered the scallop hibachi it came with what supposed to be fried rice but honestly didn’t look like the fried rice I’m used to in japoneses restaurants . Scallops were good.. they bring out drinks after appetizer.
