Had a function there was quoted a price and then told that the tip was not included on the price. We left a tip for the staff the night of the function and then was charged tip again on credit card. So the waitress received an every large tip. Restaurant said they could not refund the charge. Poor communication and poor business tactics. Will not be returning for any meals or functions

Went to Corner House New Years Eve had a great time and food was good. We went tonight for Valentines day was very disappointed. I ordered baked stuff haddock special it was cold and very dry asparagus were ice cold French fries were hot. When waitress Riley came to clear table and see if we wanted dessert I told her my dinner was cold and very dry could not eat it and she just apologized and that was it. For a $32.00 ,meal I felt she could of done something like take something off our bill. I guess we won't be going back there in the future.CJI called you on your direct number about you wanting to give me a gift certificate t I go back and try it again. I thought that was fair but you never contacted me about the gift certificate.I'm assuming to don't intend to.

We ordered takeout, and the wife got fish and chips ,I got a chicken sandwich. Fish was 1/4 inch thick with the batter, fries were good, and she got a thimble full of cabbage with no dressing could ya spare some Cole slaw ! My chicken was just overcooked dried out chicken fingers with nothing on it but cheese that was melted so bad it looked microwaved. Very disappointing trying to support local, but it's different every time we try going back. Sad part is someone in the kitchen put that meal together and said it was good to go.

Cute place with hearty food welcomed after a hike in the Squam Lake's Mount Percival and Mount Morgan loop trail. Service: friendly and super fast. Our food was out without 15 minutes of ordering Menu: We ordered the lobster mushroom bisque and French onion soup, burger with onion rings, fish and chips, zucchini bread, and garden salad to share. The bisque was thick and generous with chunks of lobster in the middle in some sort of sherry sauce- my favorite. The burger was juicy but not particularly tender, and the haddock was flaky and crisp. A bit disappointed there was only a thin breading on the fish but the fries were great. The zucchini bread was great as a app and as a small dessert!

The lobster Benedict is the best I've ever had!! The Bloody Mary was delish and the service and ambiance were delightful! We'll be back!

Everything I’ve had there has been good if not great. I am an appitizers, drink and desert girl so I can’t judge on the entrees but others at my table were satisfied with theirs. Every resturant is having issues with staff, which makes a busy place like this struggle at times but Kudos for them for pushing through. The live music is always a bonus ! I’m thrilled with the progress since the new owners took over and happy to frequent the Corner House Inn again

We were happy to return to the Corner House, which we've been patronizing in its different forms for over fifty years. This time we ate downstairs. The food was very good and the servers rose to the challenge of a reduced staff with good humor and efficiency. Glad to be back!

Menu and hours are now limited. No hunters' meatloaf anymore. It's sad but one of the best restaurants around is becoming average and will likely go out of business due to the competition.

Visited on a Tuesday night before the theater at Barnstormers. Not very busy but decided to sit at the bar for a quick bite and drinks. Hostess was very pleasant and the atmosphere and ambiance were perfect. Mood quickly changed when bartender welcomed us (seemed tired and ready to go home) at 6:00pm. This was our first visit to this restaurant so first impression is everything. Ordered wine and a few appetizers. Service was fast but again, mood was negative. Bartender and waitstaff continued negative chat. Might expect this at a lesser restaurant but this place was not cheap so expected a good vib. Perhaps offering bread basket or asking if we wanted another drink would have been nice. We ended up just handing bartender our credit card, paying and leaving. Food was okay. Will try another place next time .

We had dinner at the Corner House sitting on the patio on a Saturday night (before the John Davidson show next door). The entire experience was pleasant with great service and truly delicious food. Rather than order a traditional meal, I ordered the pulled pork quesadillas which were a mouth-watering delight. My husband is a "gluten free" guy and the waitress have him appropriate guidance. Desserts were delicious too. I highly recommend this restaurant.
