Not the greatest place for calamari. Very either under or overcooked. Hard to chew through, thick gummy and rubbery. The worst I've had in my life. Although the batter is cohesive, tasty and crispy (they fry it in some kind of shortening or bacon fat maybe?). The tartar sauce is just vinegar cream, no taste of pickle or anything else, did not like it at all. Their fried fish plates look good though. It might be a hit or miss type of place. This was a great place to get some super fresh seafood. I tried the Shrimp & scallop plate along with a side of clam strips. A bit pricey & the scallops were small but it is the off season, so I'm told(as I'm not from the east coast).Either way, I'd recommend.
