Allendale steakhouse is such a local gem. The steaks are incredible. Although recently I ordered a 2 1/2 pound lobster and that was superb as well Warm courteous service. We are very fortunate to have this restaurant in our neighborhood.

By far, the best steakhouse in Bergen county and rivals those in Manhattan and other big cities. Relatively small place if outside dining is unavailable so suggest reserving table rather than walk in. Excellent and professional service with no rush attitude. BYOB which reduces overall price for the usual marked up bottles at other places. Liquor store very close by with great selections of premium wines. Definitely a go to place for those living in North Jersey without the hassle of NYC. Highly recommend.

The food was great. I got the bone in ribeye and it was excellent. My wife really enjoyed her filet as well. We shared the crab stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and it was very tasty.

The quality of our steaks was excellent, but the preparation was unremarkable. The same was particularly true of our sides, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and mushrooms, all of which were bland and not at all satisfying. The service was fine.

On a positive note, the steak was delicious. However, the ambiance is awful. If you didn't look at the food on the tables, you would think you were in a pizza place with a restaurant in the back. The service is fair, nice enough wait staff, but certainly not steakhouse quality. Place is very informal, saw a patron in a sweatsuit, one in a hoody. You're paying steakhouse prices but I wouldn't call it a steakhouse. So if you're looking to impress a business colleague or have a nice or a romantic date, this is not the place. If you want a good steak at $75 and go out in a sweatsuit, this is a place you would enjoy.

The worst rack of lamb I have ever had in a restaurant. Nothing but bone and fat. I won’t be back.Parking: Not easy to park close to restaurant.

We went last night and unfortunately pretty disappointed . The service was excellent so no problem there . The lobster cocktail was good . Lobster Bisque was bland with no lobster , wedge salad had a pile of chopped fatty bacon chunks that were not cooked fully. We ordered the porterhouse for 4 plus an order of the twin lobster tails . The sirloin was good but the filet part was very tough. The lobster tails tasted off and a couple of us had really bad stomach pains . Ambience was nothing special and it was extremely loud . The acoustics made everything sound magnified . We had very hopes but will not return or recommend.

we enjoyed our evening at Allendale Steakhouse again. There were several big parties that were extremely loud, and it was not a cozy, intimate experience, or a quiet dining experience but we understand sometimes parties are noisy. Very good food and great service as always, thank you!
