Food: my food was great with one exception, the bun! Was it stale? It might have been unless the bun textures have changed since I last consumed it not too long ago! Service: it is very friendly and welcoming. They are attentive as well. Value: it was reasonable. If you are getting drinks you may end up paying more than $50 per person for dinner. Parking: this is an old bank so ample parking around it. Notables: the old vault is not a dining room, you can probably reserve it for special occasions. There was also an unidentified smell in the restaurant. It was not pleasant to me but my wife did not seem to notice.

There are a lot of meals that feature local ingredients. A lot of the meals that have interesting ingredient choices that I would not have considered and every time I am impressed and left smiling.
The food is absolutely fantastic, and the drinks are spot on — the bar area is very nice and comfortable and Cole is fantastic and knows customer service! Highly recommend visiting for either a casual night out or an upscale night in the dining room. This place offers the best of both worlds!

We ordered the fish tacos and a cheeseburger. The tacos were delicious but very small portions---really more like an appetizer. The cheeseburger was just ok, nothing special, and worth half of what was charged. The accompanying "fries" were awful. Basically they were thick wedges of potato that were dry, hard, tasteless, I am guessing they were made maybe the day before and reheated? I was still hungry after the small fish tacos so tried my husband's "fries", but neither of us could eat them. The service was ok, but the staff mostly hung out together in the bar which is in a separate room. Disappointing as I had been hoping to like the place.

I've usually enjoyed our dinners and/or lunches at Juniper Hill, but last night I was very disappointed to see that they had removed one of the original dishes that was my favorite... the blackened pork cheek bowl with koshihikari rice, soy, mustard and scallions. There was a different preparation of pork cheek on the menu (tamarind glazed), but it did not appeal to me. Thankfully they still had the handmade ricotta cheese appetizer. Please bring back the original.. it was the best!!!!!
