Came here during the pandemic and was very nervous about eating indoors. I called a million times to ask to sit outdoors with heaters. When I arrived it was still too cold we asked to switch indoors and they could not have been more accommodating and nice. Nice place to get dinner and drinks and hang out!

I thought this place was terrific. Everything from the shrimp appetizer to my surf and turf main course were awesome. My wife had the ahi tartar tacos which she thankfully shared. Service was terrific. Had probably the best table in the place looking out over the street. Can't wait to go back.

Always have been a fan of David Burke since I lived in NYC. Got their Thanksgiving catering this Year to try to support a restaurant that opened in the middle of the pandemic. While more pricey compared to other catering options, it did not disappoint. Food was amazing and portions were generous. The turkey was a little dry but still tasted good and the sides and desserts were spot on. Would def cater from them next year as well, hope they continue to do it. Can’t wait for this pandemic to be over so I can have a date night with the hubby at the actual restaurant!

The whole experience was wonderful! Great food, well organized for social distancing, nice atmosphere and great service. Loved the blistered shisitos! And 80s music, the good kind...The Cure and The Smiths! So now I have a David Burke restaurant close to home..life is good.

Great, friendly service. Portions were smaller than expected for the $$ and overall the entree was very salty. I ordered the Jersey eggs Benedict and my friend had the avocado toast. It was delivered so fast that I don't know how it could have been cooked after being ordered. The eggs Benedict were warm but not hot. Pork roll is usually salty, I understand that, but the hollandaise sauce was extremely salty. The potatoes on the plate were purely for a garnish and would not constitute a "side". If I go back, I'll order something else. The Aperol spritz I ordered was the best part!

Just terrible. $48 NY Strip "butcher's cut" was a tiny piece of inedible shoe leather. The waiter was totally embarrassed. I was shocked something that poor of quality came out of that kitchen. Sent it back and just ate the fries. Salad was a soggy mess too. What a huge disappointment. Will never go back. They will be out of business soon. I think that building is cursed.

We are residents of asbury and truly enjoy the amazing restaurants this town offers. We were looking forward to an awesome dining experience, as we know this was opened and is owned by a celebrity chef... to say the entire experience was disappointing is an understatement. We were charged $18 for an omelette that we make better at home. As a normal restaurant serves an omelette with at least a piece of toast, when this ‘main’ arrived, it literally had the smallest omelette with absolutely nothing else on the plate. We quite honestly thought they had forgotten to bring the toast out separately (or whatever else this normal brunch menu item would come with)... total waste of money. The waitress was disinterested and had 0 clue what the menu entailed and didn’t know how to explain what each dish we asked about was. We were also told they were out of 5 things and it was 3:00 pm.... slim choosing to say the least.Unfortunately, this is a one time experience that we will not be doing again. Completely expensive prices for the dishes and items they are serving. Please consider other great restaurants in Asbury when spending $200 for 2 main dishes and a few drinks.

Asbury Kitchen by David Burke Scores always out of 5 Carl: 4.2 Nicole: 4.4 Service: server was excellent, hosts were poor We had to reschedule our reservations because we got rained out the night before. The person who answered the phone was not helpful but did make us reservations for the following night. We showed up and apparently she never entered the reservations. No one acknowledged us as we were waiting and they were short with us. Other parties without reservations started showing up after we checked in and were offered to sit inside, we never were. So we went up to tell them we'd like to sit inside and were met with more attitude. With reservations, we waited 23 mins to be seated. We entered in a bad mood but our lovely server quickly turned that around. Atmosphere: excellent We are so glad we sat inside. This location used to be Modines and they kept the gorgeous Art Deco charm but added some funkiness. It's just not the same vibe outside. Food: excellent We had the wings and rings as an app, absolutely delicious and awesome presentation. For dinner we had the skirt steak and NY strip with shishito peppers. Everything was fabulous. For dessert we tried Scotty's saltwater taffy sundae and it was the funkiest, tastiest ice cream sundae. I would never have thought to put those flavors together but it was perfect! Price: expensive If we were drinking alcohol this would have been over $200. However the food is delicious. You're def paying for the presentation but they absolutely deliver. Overall: excellent experience! We only took off points for price and service (the hosts) but other than that it was fabulous. David Burke was there walking through the restaurant and seemed super nice, how cool is that? We hope this pop up is here to stay because it's an awesome experience. Don't miss the wings and rings app, the bacon app, or the cake pop dessert tree if you're looking for a good photo !! #shorelovesfood #davidburke #davidburkerestaurants #asburypark #downtownasburypark #masterchef #monmouthcounty #instafood #foodiesofinstagram #foodiecouple

I want to start by saying the food was good and our server Joanie was absolutely fantastic! She went above and beyond and so welcoming. The reason that I am only giving 3 stars is here: we ordered the oyster shooter flight in which the bartender insisted on coming outside where we were sitting and serving himself. When he did so, he was leaning and hovering over our table with his mask around his chin (someone in the restaurant industry should be well aware how to wear a mask 8 months into pandemic) ... the way he was hovering and speaking over our drinks and food would've disturbed and made me uncomfortable in a pre covid life never mind in today's world. He shouted over the table for what seemed like an eternity and then was really awkward when we said we were sharing them and didnt want to chug the one after another and and awkwardly suggested since we were 2 people and it is an odd for us to share we should consider a second set. We didn't. Again - uncomfortable.... time went by and we had our oyster shooters and did not care for one. Joanie was very attentive and ordered 1 more of our favorite for us. She was very sweet. Once again though the bartender insisted coming outside the restaurant to serve it himself. This time wearing a new mask (still not correctly) still hovering and breathing all over our food. However, this was the clincher - as he was animatedly speaking about his creation, he put his foot up on the chair at our table - where we are eating and starts to ties his shoes. This is at our dining table. My boyfriend and I were both speechless. Wondering if we were being punked.... such a shame - our food was really good, Joanie was amazing, but this rogue abrasive bartender really put a huge damper on our experience. Sanitation and protection are more important nowadays than ever. It was just really disappointing.

Worst dining experience I've had in a VERY long time. We went for brunch to celebrate my birthday...food took forever to arrive and when it did it was cold and not great. My salmon and eggs was missing its poached eggs. ( instead the chef put burrata cheese on top and no one in kitchen could tell the difference) The waitress never came back and by the time we could get anyone's attention everyone else had finished eating so I just said forget it and didn't eat.

This was DIVINE. our server, Jen, was an angel. We started with the dirty martini oyster shooters and they were perfect. Jersey shore restaurant week menu was extended so we got a 3 course for $33.20 deal. The apps we chose were the burrata and tuna tartare. The tuna tartare was so flavorful. We both got the salmon dish which came over a mix of asparagus, spinach, and mushrooms. We finished up with coconut sorbet with fresh berries. Excellent meal!!

Went there hoping for a great dining experience and one full of eclectic flavors. The place was the least busiest from all the places around and that made me wonder. We sat at the bar and Greg was fun and full of life. The chicken dish which is supposed to be the signature dish was just ok. I was hoping for a David Burke meal and it did not come through. The happy hour drinks were tasty and at a reasonable price. My friend got the calamari appetizer and it was tiny. The menu is limited and a bit pricey for what you get. Was not happy after making a half hour drive to Asbury for this dinner. Oh and BTW, the up charge for using a credit card is poke in the eye.Consumer Marine Supply

Everything was fantastic! We ate at the bar, 4 of us, with mandatory space around our group. The bartenders (hot btw) were great serving the most interesting drinks I've seen an awhile. Theres a delicious pear drink with pisco that was awesome. They were running a special rum ham drink dedicated to Danny DeVito that tasted just like what Frank must have been crying for lol!Had the oysters, bacon, salmon, tuna tacos, burrata, wings and calimari. All simple and perfectly delicious.Good prices for the quality too. Top of my list for AP now.

Had dinner last night at AK. Because both of us wanted to feel safe, we chose to eat outdoors. The AK set up is not well thought out nor attractive. Wooden tables are separated physically but there are no dividers keeping people from passing by other than traffic dividers and there were openings in those. Tables are sitting in the middle of the street, which is exactly what you feel like when dining there. David Burke needs to walk around the corner and see what Pascale & Sabine has done to accommodate outdoor dining- lovely wooden screens with some greens, festive string lights and it looks and feels organized- not haphazard. Oh, yes and heaters there! That being said, the food was great...but cooled quickly because it was so chilly outside. Would have better maintained heat had there been heaters. No bread served, nor amusebouche. Tequila with passion fruit cocktail was super. Loved the contrast of the slightly sweet drink with the snappy chili salt. Tuna tartare tacos were fresh and had a zing. Snapper was beautiful, perfectly done and tasty. Presentation was well-done. Our server was lovely, knew the menu and was prompt. Other wait staff kept water glasses filled and were attentive as well. We didn't order dessert because it was too cold to continue to sit there. This is probably comparing apples to oranges, but Burke's Drifthouse in Seabright is so stellar, our expectations were high. We heard AK is staying, and if so, they really need to step up their game to compete with the other great restaurants in Asbury...hello, Taka.....Particularly at this price point, they're going to have to class-up the outdoor arrangement considerably. And some bread would be nice, too;)

I had the cauliflower steak, which I thought was excellent. Loved the wedge salad. Husband had the shrimp with cavatelli which was really good. He wished the shrimp was grilled though. Great dinner.
