Drinks? Good! Beach?? Goooooood! Drinks ON THE beach? The best it could get. The Beach Bar is all open air, basically a pier on the very end of the boardwalk with a few different bars, a DJ sometimes, some tables and relaxed but good vibes. Me and some friends stopped by here while walking home from brunch and wanted to soak in a little more of the beautiful weather. I wasn't really feeling a strong drink so we all got pina coladas and daiquiris. FUN, I know. The bartenders were super nice when I inquired about any sort of mocktails because I wasn't too sure I wanted a drink. But when I saw pina colada on the menu I knew it was the drink for me. It barely tasted like it had alcohol in it which was pretty perfect for me (maybe not the rest of the friends who needed to get an extra shot of rum added). Go for the beach side drinks because there is nothing better.

I've come here for years and always had a great time but sadly my current experience just ruined it. Brought our family who is recently new to the US and the security started questioning the validity of his ID because he was not sure what specific ID to show, and then she proceeded to get passive aggressive and rude. Instead of trying to be helpful, her response is "this is Jersey" and "you should have explained to him" and "I don't know who you are". If this is how we treat guests at a place that is supposed to be inclusive and welcoming, then we will go elsewhere. Very disappointing.

First let me say our server was nice. Our food and drinks came out fast.But the main problem was my husband ordered a burger but they used a stale roll, a frozen burger patty ( like you would get from Walmart) and the frozen crinkle fries it was disgusting. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and it didn't come out with chicken...the server did offer to add chicken on the side but I declined...the Pinco de Gallo was dry tomatoes and onions. So bad.The prices were as expected for the boardwalk but the quality of the food was not.The music was really loud for the low key vibe of the placeIt seems like a cool place to drink but maybe skip the menu...but after reading the other reviews about the weak drinks maybe just skip this place altogether.

The DJ yesterday was playing some great music!The vibes was so amazing here.The bartender, some of them are racist.My rum bucket did not have enough alcohol.Bought shots yesterday and my cup was much less than my friends cup.

Stopped here on a pub crawl a few weekends ago.Pros: Great location right next to the beach at Asbury Park, surprisingly not overly priced which some of the other spots along the boardwalk are!Cons: Very bare bones setup; felt a little dingy inside; had to use public bathrooms just outside of the bar area.Not sure if I'd come here on a regular basis, but the location's hard to beat so I'll probably be back!
What's not to love about this place? Hot boys in speedos, great DJ, friendly bartenders, and amazing people watching. A must visit when in Asbury!

We went by at 8:30 and the bartender said it was last call. Seriously? We ended up not even bothering since we were going to have to slam our drinks back and leave. The bartender was nice so that's why they get the 3 stars.

Don’t go here Wednesdays before 5pm. One of the bartenders will throw an absolute fit if you’re $1 short on a $13 drink (and promise to pay him back because- hey- you live in the area).

Drinks were great. Nice view looking over the ocean. The bouncer was very nice. Did not like that you have to use public restrooms since this bar didn't have any which was very weird. But nice place for a late night drink.
