Horrible. The food was horrible. Can we talk about a chef who does not give a damn about food quality. The crispy chicken with truffle and garlic Parmesan was dry And bland. The blue cheese dressing was very sour Ranch dressing. The mussels were salty and the scallops were rubber. Then the desserts, nothing says lazy and complacent then whipped cream from a can. Honestly if someone in the kitchen can't get heavy cream, confectioners sugar, vanilla, a whisk and a metal to make whipped cream ... jeez what can they do. Also the ice cream was frozen burn. It clearly had been left out of freezer then put back in to refreeze. The beet salad was good but I don't believe the beets were freshly made. What has happened to the food quality and care in Asbury Park Restaurants? Because it is a destination place does that mean the owners/chefs should not care because it is Asbury Park?

Our friends were celebrating a birthday so we did a group rate brunch. The overall cost came out to be $60+ a person which I thought to be a tad expensive but it’s okay. The food was really good. We were first served some fresh fruit and danishes. Couldn’t tell you what kind of danishes they were, but they were surprisingly delicious. Next was the main course which was the chicken & waffles. The chicken was spectacular, the waffles were perfect, and the gravy was tasty. My only gripe was at random moments I would taste something super super sweet. Not exactly sure what it was, but it was sometimes overpowering. The short rib hash was tasty but a bit dry. Felt like it was just too much potatoes and not enough egg or meat to have a good blend. Overall it was a great time, the staff was super friendly and on top of their game.

Great restaurant! We had a table of 6, and every dish was outstanding and not overpriced. Loved the atmosphere, and the service was second to none. Highly recommend... Will go back.

We had such a great time here! The food is amazing and the staff is so attentive and friendly. We love the atmosphere and location is so convenient! Amazing for date night, friend gatherings, and I heard they also do weddings!

Worst restaurant in Asbury. How they survive on Cookman is beyond me. Service is mediocre and food is horrible and never consistent. Been there a couple times, but never again.

Cross & Orange has become a brunch haven for my friends and me. The vibrant atmosphere, coupled with DJ Funsize's tunes, elevates the experience. We even crafted a dance and cheer in homage to this fantastic spot--our go-to brunch destination for creating unforgettable memories.

Thank you to Ashley, Matt and Gwen for the amazing brunch engagement party for my daughter and fiance. The food and service was outstanding and everyone had a great time. Thank you for the accommodations you made for our growing group. It was a beautiful party and I highly recommend the bottomless mimosa brunch and the delicious food for anyone's special event!

This is my second time to the restaurant for brunch. The first time when I went, it was a totally different vibe. There was a DJ and the place was really busy this time it was very quiet. I'm not sure if it's just because it was so cold out. it's a great place for brunch because they have bottomless bloody Mary's or mimosas and both are very good and not watered down. The food there is tasty. I've had the chicken and waffles, and really enjoyed them. I've also had the turkey and brie sandwich special which was flavorful. This is a place that I always go to when I'm in town whether it's just a sit at the bar and have a bloody Mary or to have the bottomless brunch. I will definitely be returning.

The service on a Sunday morning for brunch was slow and barely there. They had loud, overbearing shifty DJ which made it nearly impossible to hear anyone at my table. The food was terrible and clearly all out of a box. Nothing was made there.I certainly wouldn't recommend this place or go back.

I was truly mindblown by the food in this restaurant. The french onion soup was probably the best one I’ve ever had and their crispy chicken sandwich was impeccable. The ambiance was amazing and our server Gaby was the best. I loved my time there.

Did some shooting here for a wedding. The wedding was beautiful, and the venue worked well. It’s on the smaller side for a wedding, but we went out along the streets to do some photo shooting. It has a nice atmosphere with the string lights and a long bar, but it gets crowded. Staff was helpful and polite, so that is always a plus.I would return to shoot a wedding here.
