The carrots and celery were very fresh.Two of us had fish and chips, which was not only delicious but a great portion for a great price.One of us had a chicken burrito (w/ tortilla chip & pico de gallo) special that was also delicious and a great portion.We all shared a peanut butter explosion, which was also phenomenal.

The vibe here is very much "fun, relaxed pub-y dive-y gloriousness". The food here is better than your average "pub grub". Everything is served hot and fresh. A lot of it is made in house, and their chicken fingers (which also adorn their chicken sandwich) might be the best I've had. The beer selection is varied and always rotating. Local beers and national micros abound. And their bourbon, rye, Irish, and scotch whiskey selections are pretty great as well. All in all, this place has eventually become one of the best places to get a beer and a burger in Asbury.

Just when we thought we had visited EVERY place to eat in Asbury! This place is an absolute hidden gem at the north end of AP, directly behind the North Beach condos and dog park and a stones trow from the Berkeley and Asbury Hotel. They are open until 2am when everyone else is closed, especially good to know during the colder months. Food is just as good as anything you'll get anywhere on Cookman and in some cases, better! Great friendly staff, amazing atmosphere, I mean really, where else can you get a great great meal, a reasonably priced cocktail AND what appears to be a 250 year old authentic Irish Pub!? We have been there at least 3 times in the last month and each time we find something new. Do yourself a favor and GO!
