This is such a hidden gem in Asbury Park. In times of Covid the seating was socially distanced and even outdoor was available. Coming to food, we ordered falafel pita with fries and a chicken shawarma platter. Before anything else, the fries itself were worth it. Chicken shawarma platter was super yumm, with a variety of sauces to choose from. I would definitely go to this place again. Its a must try and even vegetarians have options.
Great Middle Eastern food in Asbury Parks downtown. Had the felafel sandwich which was green from the proper amount of parsley being added to the felafel mixture before frying, something that people who have traveled or been in the Middle East know. Very good with the right amount of salads and tehina added. My dining partner had the Ful platter, I tasted and the Ful was rich & thick, rice and salads added on the platter were good. Such a great casual Mediterranean place! It's away from the downtown bustling area of Asbury Park, but it's great because the parking is free and never a hassle. My best friend, cousin, and I went here for a quick dinner after hanging out on the boardwalk/beach. They sat us really quickly in the back and we got our food fast. It was so good! We all got chicken shwarmas, fries, and pita. Wish I lived closer so I could eat here every day.
