My wife found this spot and it was fantastic. We tried the Detroit style pizza with salami, honey, basil and sauce and it was amazing. The best pizza I ever had. The service was great as well, we had a nice waitress who was very helpful in choosing a pie. Atmosphere was pretty cool for a pizzeria with funny signs and nice people. Only thing is that it’s a little tight and you may be sitting very next to people where you can easily overhear conversations. However, this was also cool because we got to see what others were eating and you can talk and meet new people.

We ordered our first meal from The Galley tonight and it was fantastic! We tried a bit of everything, and one item was better than the next. But, the detroit style pizza was the winner of the bunch! Some of the best pizza we ever had! We also had cheesesteak, meatball pasta, spicy rigatoni, and brussel sprouts. Huge portions and amazing quality. So happy to have discovered this gem!

Had the Grandma pie and it was excellent. A little on the pricey side, $28. Asked for grated cheese and they wanted to charge me $3. I wasn't crazy about the loud music either, ( could be turned down a few

Had to come and try this place out after seeing a “Best pizza in Asbury Park” post on Instagram.Fairly new to the neighborhood and this place was getting all the votes and now I know why!!Walked in on a weekday to get a slice but you have to order a personal pie which at first was disappointing as I was on a tight schedule but glad I waited and ordered a pie. Young lady who helped me at the counter was very pleasant and had a great smile which is always nice to see in an establishment.I ordered a chicken bacon ranch pizza. The pizza had a thin crust with a cornmeal crunch to it. It was just perfectly toasty and crunchy. The chicken was seasoned and was juicy. The bacon had a good smoky taste and the ranch was creamy and just enough to add a smooth finish to the perfect bite. It also had some fresh parsley which gave it a gentle freshness. Will definitely be back to try all the other amazing things on the menu.Parking: Plaza has parking and street parking as wellKid-friendliness: Open and welcoming with table seating

The pizza was really good. The crust is crispy and airy. The sauce and cheese taste quality. I would say it could use a little bit more sauce on the vodka upsidedown but like I said it tastes great. I would say for the money it's not the biggest pizza obviously but this is more about quality or quantity.

First Detroit style pizza, delicious! Can't wait to return for more adventures! Maggie our server was fantastic and turned the heat on for us! So had to go back again, Maggie was our server again, bonus points for remembering us. Suggested calamari as our appetizer,, perfect!

Detroit style crust was fabulous, spicy rigatoni on point, definitely well worth the drive to AP from TR.

This is the most revolting piece of food food I’ve ever put in my mouth, or had come out the other end. Talk about a fast track to the restroom. The Galley should be called “El Bano”.The door opens frequently right where you’re sitting and blasting cold air in.The atmosphere is almost redeeming though, somewhere between a Pizza Hut and The Hyatt lobby. Weird, beachy surf house pizza with a pile of grout.Dietary restrictions: Skip the exlax, just get a pie here

You know that episode in Friends from Season 4 where Monica yells out "seven...seven...SEVEN!"?Well, that's what it's like when you bite into the pizza from The Galley. If you don't understand this reference, you're probably wearing flared jeans and wide leg pants for the first time in your life while carrying around your overpriced Stanley cup...and we probably can't be friends....BUT if you get this reference...you get this reference..Go ahead with your bad self and get some Detroit-style pizza and enjoy all the doughy goodness. Then "sink" your teeth into the Titanic burger...while imagining yourself dragging your fingers on some steamy windows as you do it...with Leo...You won't be disappointed.*"However, it should be noted that you will likely need to sell some feet pics to afford all the deliciousness. The prices are a little out there.

Sent pizza to Jersey Shore Medical Center. Great food and service to a floor of professionals whose team works together to make a patient feel like a real person while getting better.

Have been away for 2 yrs and missed The Galley Pizza & Eatery! Over the 2 yrs the menu has quadrupled!Their smoked wings are now joined by garlic smoked wings. Their pizzas now come detroit-style and dbl proofed with a puffy sky high crust.More pastas, more pizza flavors and more yumm.People are just as great as always, brussel sprouts just as yummy as before…Try them out. Come with a group and share!
