Won't return to this restaurant even though it is in our neighborhood. The rudest management (older, blonde woman). Food was okay-it was a buffet. Very watered down drinks. Waiter was a very nice guy. The hostesses were young and inexperienced, but the female, older blond woman barking orders to the staff and being insulting to my husband and I was way over the top. She couldn't handle a holiday buffet-kept talking about her 700 covers. If you can't handle it, don't book them. Just ridiculous.

I’ve gotta say, I absolutely love the location in Red Bank. We went to this one and everything about it was awful. The service was sub par, French onion was bland, the Buffalo shrimp was chewy and inedible, and the Shepard’s pie was absolute trash. Both the French onion and Shepard’s pie should have been broiled on the top but both seemed to be thrown into a microwave. This location needs to step it up because it’s nothing at all like Red Bank

Very good food - crab cake, hummus, truffle fries, chips served with sandwiches so spot on delicious. Longer wait than usual for food, but the flavor made up for it.

My sibling and I decided to drop her for dinner tonight. We were able to sit outside because of the nice weather. I had my dog with me so outdoor seating was perfect. Our waitress was very attentive and our food came out quickly. I had a Maine lobster roll, which was very good with a salad. My sibling ended up ordering the Guinness stew and really enjoyed it. Overall, it was a good experience and I'd come back.

So Good. Great vibes. Great food. The manager Jonathan is the absolute best. Very outgoing and highly recommend if ever in the Asbury Park area!!!

The food here is ok, not great. It depends on what you order. The menu seems to change periodically. Service is hit or miss. The view of the ocean is nice. Draft beers are usually good. Used to visit here several times throughout the year especially during summer. Visited here on Friday 3/1/2024 around 3 pm. Our server was friendly. Food was ok. It was only us and one other table in the dining room. After being subject to a rather lewd, sexually explicit, and frankly, disgusting conversation coming from three upper middle aged women seated two tables over (and who were not even TRYING to be discreet about it), we paid our bill, left a generous tip, thanked our server and left. Realizing I had left my black leather gloves in the booth, my wife returned IMMEDIATELY (not even 5 minutes later) only to not find them and nobody on the staff knew anything about it. I then went in myself, looked all around our booth, and was told the same. They took my phone number to call me if anyone found them but as I suspected, they never called. This is ridiculous. Either someone (on the staff) stole them, or threw them away. Really? You need my old used gloves THAT bad? Go ahead and have them. We will never return here or the other locations.

It was quiet, even for happy hour! Nachos were appetizing, and the lobster roll on the gluten free bun was tasty. My boyfriend had the Guinness stew and enjoyed it. We'll be back!

I loved that this had outdoor seating on the boardwalk where you can see the ocean and also bring your dog. The food here is not that good though. It is pretty on point when people in the reviews say it’s “just ok”. It is basic food that is extremely overpriced for the quality. The flatbreads are so small and priced at $18. Got a burger and it was not good. Everything took very long to come out and the food is basic. It was disappointing since we loved that we could sit outside with our pup.

My husband and I have been to Robinsons many times. It's always a good experience service, food, atmosphere and the people we always meet. This last Sat. afternoon was especially so. The weather had been so gloomy, we raring to go. We are not local, Woodbridge, it's not far. Alicia at the bar was busy but doing a great job! My husband and I have 40 plus years experience in the resturant and bar business. She brings youth but old school sence and personality that makes it more fun. Well done you for recognizing a gem!

The food is always good here. However, the service was lacking quite a bit at this visit. We usually sit at the bar for better service, but there was nothing available so we took the table we had reserved. While the server was quite friendly, he was not attentive and incredibly slow moving throughout the evening. I even watched Busboys walk past our table, look at us,l and saw that our plates were finished and piled and we were sitting back in our chairs, and did not clear anything away. We waited 2/3 through the meal to have our water glasses and drinks refreshed and were not checked on at any point to see how things were. By the time my requested oil and vinegar arrived, I said I was already done eating and it was still left at the table “just in case even and plates remained uncleared. I was a server for many years and when there are multiple servers and bus boys walking around looking at tables, it should be a group effort to either inform the appointed server that a table needs attention or take it upon yourself to chip in.

Connecticut lobster roll 4. Robinson House salad a 5, but the fried chicken was disappointing. It was like a shortcut version of fried chicken and, as well as the accompanying cornbread, was dry.
