My husband and I had breakfast here this morning and I want to say our waiter Jason was wonderful, however, the food was not. The food was served cold, did not have much flavor. My biggest issues was with the glasses of water my husband and I received. My glass was dirty and had 3 rings around of dirt around it, my husband's glass was smudged and had debrie on it. I made the waiter aware, he apologized and offered to get a supervisor. My husband and I wait about 20 minutes for a supervisor that NEVER SHOWED!! I rarely write reviews, but this service was unacceptable. Again, the waiter was fantastic, everything else was a disgrace.

Buca Di Beppo Atlantic City Meatball Monday! ... right inside Bally's *my visit was in February 2020, before the Covid-19 closings and lockdowns. The restaurant is super easy to find, it is on the 6th floor, you take the escalator right up from the main casino floor at Bally's (NOT the Wild Wild West Casino). I really enjoy a simple plate of "Spaghetti and Meatballs". At the time, Buca di Beppo was had a special "Meatball Monday", where you would get their Spaghetti and Meatball plate for 1/2 price! They do have a great extensive menu, with lots of options, but I almost always have Spaghetti & Meatballs. (Though I have enjoyed the Chicken Parm there as well!) After he took our order, we swiftly got our freshly-baked loaf of bread and butter. YUM! Our meals arrived quickly, and were ready to eat (not scalding hot). They are known for their GIANT meatballs, and one is definitely enough to enjoy with a plate of pasta. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly, not squishy (overcooked) or crunchy (undercooked). The meatball was well done, not overly seasoned or heavy. The service was GREAT! The host seated us quickly, and we didn't need a reservation. Our waitperson was attentive but didn't hover or annoy, and was ready with a drink refill when needed. The meal wasn't super fancy, but it was what I was looking to eat at the moment, served, quick hot, tasty and friendly... and my friend and I enjoyed our meals. And the price was right! Buca is a chain restaurant, with several locations. Be sure to check their website and signup for their emails. You will get discounts and specials sent to you, which you can use when ordering your meals either at the restaurant, or for take out (depending on the promotion at the time, they do change up the deals they offer).

Currently, this location is only serving breakfast on weekends, which is disappointing as they have ads saying they have meatballs as big as your head, but they aren't around now. The Buca website doesn't even list breakfast, you have to go to the Bally's website to find the menu. There is also no current breakfast buffet which is sad, but they have a decent menu. When we came it was pretty empty. The breakfast is a little on the expensive side, but if you want something better than Dunkin in the hotel, then it's a decent option. My boyfriend got 2 eggs, bacon, homefries, and toast which was about $12. The waiter discouraged getting turkey sausage, so that was either really helpful or his personal preferences were too strong. I got the cinnamon apple pancakes which had the apple flavor in the pancake and on top. It was good, but seems to be a special flavor as it's not currently on the menu. We also split a fruit bowl which had a good variety of different fruits included. Overall, breakfast was good and service was great. I'd like to come here someday for dinner or breakfast buffet when those are open again. This is upstairs from the casino floor, so maybe it's empty if people aren't looking for it.

Unfortunately, thanks to Covid, Buca is only serving breakfast. We ate there twice, both times were good. Jason, the waiter on our first day, remembered my companions from their earlier stays. He greeted them like old friends and was very warm with me. He made sure everyone was happy. Willie, the waiter on our second day, was also excellent, attentive, and very nice to my companions’ young child. Jamaa, the employee who brought our drinks, was very pleasant and helpful. The woman who was seating people (I didn’t catch her name) was great. She saw me on the second day, when I was waiting for my friends, and offered to seat me, remembering that we wanted to sit way off to the side. The food was good I had pancakes and bacon. My friends had omelettes, which they enjoyed.
