I came here with a group of 9 for my cousin's birthday. First off, the ambience was AMAZING!!! But that doesn't make food taste good. We had reservations...and still had to wait to be seated when all guests were present.So let's get into the meat and potatoes of my post (pun intended). I ordered the 14oz steak, asparagus and mashed potatoes. The potatoes were piping hot (awesome), my steak was luke warm. So much so that the butter on top never melted even after a few minutes. And the asparagus was cold. I ordered my steak medium rare. I'm sure it was rare. Which wouldn't have been bad if I ordered steak tartare. So I just asked the server to re-fire it and asparagus as well. I received my steak and guess what....STILL WARM. And the asparagus...BURNT.Also most restaurants bring food out on warmed/heated plates. Not this restaurant. I'm sure that would've helped maintain the temperature of the food.The server took the asparagus off the tab, which was fine. But honestly, I think they could've also offered more of a discount. I'm not saying I won't return. But I'm expecting a better experience when I do.

Hostess is inexperienced and has no clue how to handle an upset patron. Waited over 40 minutes to be seated. Told from upon entry it would be couple of minutes. After 40 minutes of waiting told it would be a few more minutes. Left and will NEVER go back. Get better employees who know what they are doing.

I’m so sick and tired of paying astronomical amounts for meals that don’t deliver. My husband had a veal; the worst he’s ever had. I had carbonara, horrible. Oysters, not good. Fried calamari; chewy. Save your money and go some place else.

My spouse and I visited Linguini by the Sea, from the time were seated we felt uncomfortable awaiting a long period of time to welcome us, as well to take our order, the calamary was overcooked and not well presentable, the quality of food server to my wife (salmon) was overcooked and dry it was not as the next table salmon. In conclusion we felt treated as 2nd class customer. Dusrespected and embarrased. Hopefully not other person should feel that way.

My wife and I had 6:00 Saturday reservations before an 8:00 show (also at Ocean Casino Resort). It was our first visit and we were seated within 10 min of checking in with the host. Dining area is bright, nicely-decorated with comfortable seating. Our server was very friendly, engaged, and informative-- he made several helpful recommendations on beverages and entrees which were spot-on! The complimentary freshly-baked rolls ridiculously delicious and addicting-- we could've easily eaten a dozen. My wife started with a Sorrento Sidecar-- she rarely partakes of alcoholic beverages, but she absolutely loved the taste, and it wasn't too string for her. She had the Tricolore salad followed by Fettucine Al Gamberi (with rock shrimp)-- both were delighful! I thoroughly enjoyed the phenomenally tasty Octopus Carpaccio followed by the Branzino Al Forno. I ordered a side of the Brocoli Rabe with Garlic and Oil, which came to the table in a family size bowl-- unfortunately it was mostly tasteless with not even a hint of garlic or oil, a minor misstep which failed to diminish the overall superlative dining experience ror us. We'll definitely return to dine with you again. Thanks!

We were excited to try this restaurant located at the Ocean Hotel in Atlantic City! Our waiter was nice, attentive, and friendly. However, I wasn't satisfied with my food. Despite that, the restaurant offers a beautiful view of the boardwalk and the beach.

A very beautiful restaurant with below par cuisine. I went with my family to enjoy a nice dinner and it was only a good experience in service and atmosphere. The restaurant is beautiful and elegant. Paired with the views it is a very nice place to come for an upscale experience. Sadly, the food was very underwhelming and forgettable. The gorgonzola and fig flatbread, though not my personal choice but I am up to try new flavors, was not appealing to the palate or the eyes. It left an uncomfortable sticky residue mixed with cheese and it was not pleasant. The linguine with clams were in watered down wine sauce. The linguine tasted like noodles that came right out of the water and put on the dish to serve. The boar pappardelle was just ok. The meat was tender and tasted nice with the sauce but it was loaded with so many mushrooms I thought I was going to start to hallucinate. The noodles were not cooked properly and were still tough. However, the Moscato was fabulous. For the prices that these fine dining establishments charge you would think they would take more care with the preparation. I would not return but it was nice to watch the ocean during dinner. That's the star of this restaurant. The view.

Disappointing dinner. Mediocre Italian food. Nothing special. Service was horrible. Felt rushed the whole time. Rude waitress. Given menus after waiting and immediately asked for drink and dinner order at the same time. Had to request special description after over hearing another staff member at another table, then seemed annoyed with us for asking. Made us feel the whole time like we were bothering her. My husband was a waiter and she was lucky he paid and tipped her. I would not have.
