This was a great local spot in Atlantic City. Great diner food affords pricing and a lovely server. Everything was good. Very homey feel when eating the food. Makes you feel good. We had the two eggs over medium with bacon and grits plus pancakes eggs with cheese beef sausage and turkey bacon. Everything tasted great. Better than other diners I’ve had. Thank you to the chef and server who committed to multiple roles and did the best he could in providing quality service and food!

First of all dummy if I get there at 1:40 and the sign says you close at 5:30 . But you yell our of the door that you close at 2:00.. and to tell me not ro pay attention to the sign..is crazy an unprofessional. This is the issue with alot of black business. Just unprofessional..the only item for coming to this place for is the chicken.So don't waste your time go to yardys or crown fry..And if you want a real brunch spot go to GREEN EGGS CAFE .. in ocean city and Philly...they actually know the opening and closing hours...smh

Anytime I’m down to AC I have to stop here the food is definitely worth the wait. Do call ahead because seating can get full on the weekends. It’s a hidden gem and local favorite. Took my 4kids here while on our spring break vacation. The food was good, service was a little off at 1st, my oldest ask for our pork items not to be cooked with his, the waitress told him the chef has been cooking for over 25yrs and theirs a lot of Muslims in Atlantic City, my sons raised seven day Adventist, he’s a big guy but he’s just 16yrs old. But other than that everything went well, food was amazing, kids love it the most!!. After driving back to Connecticut, stick that bad boy back in the microwave and it’s even better lol. Definitely recommend this for breakfast.Dietary restrictions: Non-pork eater, they have optionsKid-friendliness: Yes yes yes, my kids ate until they couldn’t move.

This is not a glamorous experience, but trust me sometimes the best food comes from a paper plate ?I would recommend takeout if you are unfamiliar with urban areas or just want a quiet breakfast to savor the heavenly food.The food: Now for the most important thing, the food.The waffles were crispy, sweet, made with love. I don’t know how else to describe them, I’ve never had waffles like this. They reminded me of a crispy vanilla cake and once you add the syrup you are going to fall in love.The fried chicken is fresh, crispy and made to order. It’s very flavorful, soul food fried chicken. We tried both wings and tenders. The wings were on the small side this day so they gave me an extra wing to make up for that ( I love the attention to detail in that regard).The scrambled eggs were both creamy and crispy at the same time. PerfectionThe grits were smooth, creamy, no lumps. Full of buttery goodness and cheese.I chose potato bread toast and even that was amazing too.They have a lot of meat options, you can get pork, turkey or beef bacon.
