Grabbed a quick slice to celebrate National Pizza Day. Incredibly fresh and soft. Good cheese to sauce ratio but definitely NOT the cheapest slice I've ever had. The place is tucked in between the other food places but accessible from the boardwalk. Place was clean and the guy was kind.

Title: A Slice of Disappointment at Perry's PizzaReview:Oh, Perry's Pizza on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, where the ambiance of the bustling boardwalk should have been complemented by a delightful slice of pizza. Alas, it was not to be. Situated in the storefront of the Tropicana Hotel/Casino, Perry's Pizza occupies a small space devoid of the luxury of indoor dining, a feature that starkly contrasts with the adjacent Tony Luke's, a sandwich restaurant that seemed to magnetize customers during my visit.Upon my visit two weeks ago, I was greeted by two polite young men whose neat appearance could not compensate for their apparent inexperience and the lackluster pizza they served. The slice, though visually appealing, was a symphony of blandness, with a sauce that lacked the anticipated slight sweetness and cheese that was more plastic than gooey delight. The overall flavor profile was as flat as the boardwalk itself, with a hint of excessive saltiness that did nothing to enhance the taste. The pizza was edible but left my taste buds yearning for the robust flavors and textures that a good pizza should provide. The limited menu added to the disappointment. The absence of classic pizzeria staples like Sicilian pizza, chicken parmesan sandwiches, pasta, and delightful desserts like zeppole or rice balls left a gaping hole in the culinary experience. And then came the bill – a staggering $10.93 for a single slice and a soda, a price that would have been justified had the pizza transported me to Italian shores with each bite. When inquired about the exorbitant prices, the justification was the resort/casino location, a claim that holds as much water as a sieve, considering Perry's Pizza's non-affiliation with the Tropicana Casino/Resort.And oh, the receipt! In a peculiar move that could only be described as a modern mystery, the receipt lacked any address or contact information for Perry's Pizza. Perhaps it's a subtle hint to dissatisfied customers that feedback is not welcomed, or maybe it's just an oversight that aligns perfectly with the underwhelming experience.Online reviews echo my sentiments, with a modest 3.7-star rating on Google at the time of posting this review, reflecting the mixed experiences of patrons. Complaints range from cold, soggy pizza that tastes like cardboard to slow service and high prices for subpar quality food. While some find solace in the convenient location and occasional flavorful slice, the consensus leans towards dissatisfaction. In conclusion, if you find yourself wandering the Atlantic City Boardwalk with a pizza craving, Perry's Pizza stands as an option. But brace yourself for the possibility of a culinary letdown with a side of a hefty bill. The allure of the boardwalk deserves a pizza companion of equal charm and flavor, a quest that, unfortunately, Perry's Pizza fails to fulfill.

I got a slice of the chicken bacon ranch and my husband got 2 slices of the pepperoni/sausage. $6.75 a slice which seems high but it's a tourist spot so it was expected. It was good pizza and filling IMO. One piece was enough for me. They gave us a pizza box and plates so we took it into the marketplace seating and ate.

Pretty underwhelming pizza. Overpriced at 42 dollars for a specialty pie of half pepperoni and half buffalo. Everything was pretty wet - it needed another 2-3 minutes in the oven.I will say the staff was kind and it was conveniently located on the broadway as well as being open late. Located in Tony Lukes.

Ordered 3 whole pizzas - so spicy! Inedible!! Returned 3 hours later after my guests left with the pizzas to show that there was definitely something wrong- manager Juan was rude! Could care less that my party was a disaster because my guests couldn’t eat the pizzas! I paid $99 for 3 pizzas- I should have gone to little Caesar’s or papa John’s- would have gotten better service and my guests would have eaten. Perry’s pizza has the worst customer service

Perry's Pizza is a pizzeria located inside Tropicana. You can enter through the marketplace or the boardwalk. The pizza is nothing special, but if you've been drinking all night, it will do the job. If you don't want a whole pizza, single slices are an option.Takeout and delivery are both available.Pizza - 7.1Service - 7.4Value - 6.6Restaurant score - 70

Pizza was too spicy - something was definitely wrong with the sauce because i ordered 3 lg pizzas ($99!) and nobody could eat the pizzas. Manager Juan was rude and not apologetic and could care less and said cameras were filming me? I'm confused - the cameras were filming me complaining? Filming me returning the 3 boxes of pizza? Wow

bought 3 pizzas at 7pm on Saturday night $32 for each plain pizza and $35 for a pineapple pizza, for a Children's party. spent $99 and the kids couldn't eat the pizza- SPICY - several adults took a bite to see why the kids wouldn't eat the pizza. everyone agreed there was something in the sauce that made the pizza spicy. I trued to call the pizza place but since it's at the Trop in AC no direct number and the operator tried to connect me a few times without success. I packed up the 3 boxes of pizza (several slices that were half eaten ) and drove back to Perry's pizza to show them the pizzas and explain that something was wrong. the manager, Juan, insisted nothing was wrong after he took a small bite of a tip of the pizza and had his employee take a small bite if the tip of another slice of the pizza! I told him the kids couldn't eat it and the adults couldn't eat it. he asked why I came back at 9:30 and I said I needed to wait for my guests to leave and then drive back to the casino . he said nothing was wrong with the pizza and that there were cameras and everything was being filmed !?! How insane is that? I brought back the pizzas to show they we're inedible and Juan is saying the cameras are filming me??? I left his lousy pizzas on the counter and walked out. The worst customer service ever! No apology - nothing!!! Do not waste your money since they are the worst!
