The place is beautiful and uniquely decorated. While seated in a beautiful setting, we all found it very uncomfortable as the seats were very hard & low and the table was high. Bench seating on one side and chairs on the other. We had the unfortunate spot of the bench. And there was an awful stench in our area which wasn't from the wonderful aromas of the kitchen. Now the best part of the evening.... The food was absolutely hands down... delicious! Salmon was perfectly prepared and presented exquisitely well! One of the best tastiest experiences by far! Raves on the lamb chops as it was seasoned so well. We had many apps and all were tasty! Loved the serving & drink ware, all were unique.The prices are high but we would definitely return. Must mention the service...excellent!Parking: Very limited, we were lucky to get a spot in the small side lotWheelchair accessibility: None

We LOVED our experience here! The food is 10/10! We got the bolani as an appetizer and the portion was huge! It was the best bolani we had ever eaten. The chutney that accompanied it was perfect as well. We also got complimentary dates and tea since we were fasting — which was a really nice touch. For dinner, we got the Uzbeki Palau and Homa’s Kabob — both absolutely delicious and packed with so much flavor. Shoutout to our waitress Rachel was super sweet and attentive!Second of all, the atmosphere is beautiful! I wish we knew the main garden dining area was closed for renovations, but nonetheless where we were seated was well decorated and had great ambiance.Definitely pleasantly surprised with this place, and will definitely be coming back here again and telling our friends and family about it.Keep doing what you’re doing, Setaara!

Well, I used to be a frequent customer of Setaara and this used to be a 5 star review. However, despite canceling the reservation over 24 hours in advance I was charged a 75 dollar fee. Every single time slot is available for tonight, 3/1 as well. So they can't say they turned someone away because of the cancellation yesterday. Stay far away from their management and their predatory business practices.

A patron on the way to this restaurant was involved in an auto accident, could not make the reservation. When they tried to explain what happened they were still charged the 'no show' fee and then blocked from the establishments social media. So sad, real life events do happen but they have no sympathy. But I am willing to bet they had a contact list of patrons they would call for last minute openings and were able to 'double dip'.Wanna bet?
This place service is extremely rude. I did a reservation this morning and I just have a car accident I call three hours before to cancel or to exchange the reservation for a day or hour and they were totally rude and they could careless about the accident. They want to charge 25 dls per guess so I will paid the 50 dls but for sure I will never recommend a place like this to no one .

Setaara was a delicious introduction to Afghan cuisine. I didn’t know what to expect and thoroughly enjoyed their soup of the day, Mantu, Silk Road Kabob, and special dessert. The interior was a dazzling contrast to a winter evening, but Their signature courtyard was closed. Staff was friendly and very informative. We walked in and found an oasis. It was Filled with trees, flowers and birds The atmosphere was very special with soft live music in the background. The escargot, and our entrees so delicious we went back the following night with our friends. Bring your best bottle of wine and settle in for a new adventure.

Do not waste your time or money. I gave it one more try but never again. I have never ever had a server to make sure u mention his name in a review? Usually when you go to dine out it’s for the food. But you can hardly enjoy your meal as it is so gaudy with cheap decorations. Maybe they should turn it into a thrift store! I’m disgusted with the whole place. My food is always cold.They need a manager in this place. Please save your time and money.
