WOOF! WOOF! Hello everyone! I am Charli, the adorable mini labradoodle who has been a loyal patron of the biergarten since I was just a tiny 8 week old pup.From the moment I first spotted this oasis located right off the boardwalk I knew I was in for something special. The outdoor seating area is simply pawsome. It's spacious shaded with umbrellas and adorned with benches, tables, and outdoor games for humans. There's always a gentle ocean breeze that keeps my tail wagging. And the fairy lights strung up overhead create a magical ambiance at night.Now lets talk about the food and all those craft beers and fancy drinks my humans so enjoy. I never met a pup who didn't like the smell of freshly grilled sausages . The texas size hot pretzel and the cheese curds are my favorite. I sneak a few when no one is looking -- don't tell !But the best part? The staff here is five paws up!! A special bark out for Patty, Thomas, Grace, Maria, Madison,Tim and Michael just to name a few. They treat me like the royalty I am. I get head pats, belly rubs, and a nice cup of fresh cold water ----even the other patrons love dogs as much as I love them.I can honetsly bark - this outdoor biergarten is my happy place.So if you are a pup or a human looking for a tail-wagging good time, this is the spot to be. I absolutely love this. For years I avoided going more than a block or so from the boardwalk for safety reasons, but found it well lit and safe.The food was extremely feeling and well priced. Loved the burger melt. Very good happy hour. Sitting outside on Allegheny chairs next to the fire pit on a chilly night was so relaxing

Ugh! We used to love this place. BEWARE!!!! They add the tip to the bill! Waitress Brittany was RUDE as could be. She asked me for my credit card BEFORE we ate. This wasn’t my first time here. My husband and I have eaten here about 10 times. We were never asked for a card ahead of time. We will NEVER return again. They made us feel very uncomfortable.
They charged 20% gratuity without asking. I usually do 20% but let me decide. Outrageously deceptive. Ruined the whole experience.

Popped in for a light dinner before going our to hear some music. We wanted to sit outside and it was nice to people watch people on the Boardwalk. we were there eagerly mid week and the bartender took our orders, Service was fast and friendly and we all enjoyed our food. Excellent beer menu. Prices were reasonable.

You have classic spots, and near classic spots, and spots that are destined for classical status someday. But, Biergarten don't care about that because it's Boss. Walking from Ocean to Biergarten in the rain was a bit too refreshing so luckily I saw my homes Freddie driving a trolley and flagged him down. "Ay, yo, Freddie, Biergarten?" "Hop on, Foo, I see your invisible bracelet homes!"A few minutes later I jumped off while the trolley was moving and ran up to the cab to give Freddie daps and a "grat." Biergarten was right in front of me. And, with the good fortune of a golden lucky cat with a battery powered arm, Tom was hanging at the gate, minding the store and making sure the Biergarten was peaceful and open for me. "Tom!" I said. "Foo!" he said, "What is going on, Foo?" "I just rolled into town to play some advantage roulette at Ocean and grab a beer and some grub! So, I came here, to the lovely outdoor patio and shaded bar. Foo loves the pleasant bar girls and Hofbrauhaus style of the place plus the Original Hofbrau on draft. And bigger pluses too like the ability to jump these planters and hit the boardwalk running in a superbly executed chew and screw! That's my game!" Then Tom says to me, while giving me a big bear hug, "Foo, you say our bar is shaded but you my friend are just as shady! You are like slim shady, no, Foo shady! You are now and for always known as Foo Shady here at the Biergarten!!"
