Acai Bowls near Avalon, NJ

“The Açai bowls here are absolutely perfect! Big variety and the ratio of açai to the other ingredients is just right (a lot of places overdue it on the açai). The staff were very friendly and happy to customize our orders any way we wanted. I ordered "The Legend" and the staff checked in with me while making as they recommended adding strawberries which I hadn't asked for (10/10 recommend this addition to match the dark chocolate nips).“

“We only ate at Big Chancho's tacos. It was so good we ate there twice in 4 days. The shrimp, fish, and steak tacos were all great. I loved the salsa verde and my husband really enjoyed both of the spicy red salsas. The complimentary chips and salsa were also really good and super filling.“

“So delicious. We go to the one in sea isle city nj . We also have a residence in Annapolis Md . In the Annapolis Towne Centre . Would love to see one there . There are some open spaces and there is no other walk up food type place . No other ice cream or yogurt places there . Would be great location for a playa bowls . There is a True Food going up so there’s a health food trend that could be started !!“

“We had my daughters birthday party here! Nicole and staff were so accommodating and pleasant! The kids loved the Ariel Glow yoga! Nicole did sucha good job instructing the kids and helping them learn the poses! The Acia bowls were delicious! Highly recommend! We can’t wait to go back and take some classes!Dietary restrictions: They accommodated a child with dietary restrictions!Kid-friendliness: The staff were so patient and friendly with the kids!“

“I've been going to Buddy's all summer, what a fantastic shop!The place is clean, everything is fresh and delicious, the menu is creative, and all your traditional (and some newer) toppings are available.My favorite has been the island acai bowl, it's a little on the sweet side, but of course that's to be expected. The milkshakes are great, the ice cream floats are awesome, and the Italian ices are refreshing on a hot day.“

“First time here today. Ordered a few espresso drinks and an acai bowl. The staff inside was very kind and service was quick! The coffee was watery but the acai bowl was delicious. Plenty of covered outside seating. Apparently there was live entertainment because the manager was loudly delivering a story time about her tongue-kissing encounters. “He literally kissed me with his tongue out!” Honestly a great time but not sure if I would describe it as family friendly. Will definitely be back!“

“Playa Bowls is a one of a kind chain. We've had the opportunity of trying them out in NJ and a few locations in Florida. Each bowl is identically made portions and all.The flavors are amazing, the combos outstanding and the vibe intriguing. Highly recommend for a snack or breakfast!“
