“We enjoyed our meal. My husband found the clam appetizer to be flavorful (broth) and I enjoyed the arugula salad (light dressing). The salmon entree was prepared nicely with olives and light tomato sauce and sizable piece of fish. My husband really enjoyed the flounder/crabmeat special - delicate and tasty. One negative is that the fish special was $10 more than any menu entree.“
“Ordered takeout. Shrimp & scallops, butterfly shrimp, and scallops and flounder dinners. All fried. Only a 20 min pickup wait time which is very good considering how crowded the island is this weekend. Everything was packed up hot and ready when I got there. Scallops were excellent, flounder was some of the best I’ve ever had in Avalon. The butterfly shrimp were a bit over cooked. Baked potatoes were huge. A couple of our orders had corn on the cob. Super fresh and delicious. (As a side note, I had tried to call Ricks Seafood in Wildwood. They were completely sold out for the day.)“
“Our second visit to the Whitebrier. Get better every time. There is a vibrant outdoor patio that brings a lot of energy and music. We sat in the restaurant off to the side (motorboat club) and enjoyed the patio vibe from a distance. We loved the food. Namely the sushi. Got the coconut shrimp, blackened scallops for spa. And crab cakes, aki and romantic rolls for the main. Everything was delicious“
“I ate at the Princeton for lunch or dinner about a dozen times in the summer of 2023. The food always tastes great, and the atmosphere is my favorite on 7 Mile Island. But what keeps me coming back so often Is the world-class staff. The hostesses always greet you with a smile. The management led by Pam and Michelle are always a pleasure to catch up with, the bartenders make great drinks and the wait staff is very attentive and courteous. Even though I love all of the servers I've had over the years I want to give a special shout-out to my two favorites Michaela & Sarah. Both of these lovely young ladies always make my dining experience exceptional. Keep up the great work Princeton!“
“food is excellent and bar is huge with excellent bartenders... although the dinner tables show some wear (needs a lil TLC) - thou i understand it was up for sale. the entire block even with the Princeton, Whitebrier, & Sea Grill all up for sale. weekends in the summer months are incredible ?“
“A wonderful fine dining experience - and a spectacular view! Cuisine is a mix of authentic Italian and Mediterranean with a twist. The specials never disappoint, and there's always a fish/seafood and a meat special. The staff is top-notch, thoughtful, friendly and attentive. And owner Lenny is usually there to say hello. Remember to check the housemade desserts! Highly recommend.“
“We ate here a couple weeks ago when we were in town. It was one of the only places open, and wow was my family glad. We enjoyed our first experience we went there a second time the next day. The table service was fantastic. We really enjoyed the Boston cream French toast and the chocolate chip pancakes are some of the most flavorful we have had. We will definitely be back!“
“Food was excellent service was great. They have went the extra mile to return my hat as well.We live in Maryland, three hours away and I realized I left it behind when my wife and I returned home after having a wonderful breakfast before leaving for home after our visit to the Wildwoods. We highly recommend this restaurant and appreciate them and their “big heart” . Thank you again.“
“Every time I go to Borgis I have an excellent dinner and a wonderful time. Dino is an extraordinary chef and he always make sure to stop by to say hello to his customers. The view from the outside is amazing at sunset and the music is always good. The food is so good that I make sure to stop by before he closes for the season to stock up on his meatballs, so that I have them in the freezer throughout the winter !“
“I'll Posto is an upscale BYOB in Avalon. We stopped in early on a Saturday during off season. We were quickly seated and met by a server. The space is upscale. There were a number of specials which they explained to us. The pesto that accompanied the bread was a great burst of flavor. We started with the fried calamari which had a wonder drizzle of both balsamic and a red sauce. Both added to the dish in a positive way. We shared a caesar salad which was fairly boiler plate in terms of presentation and flavor. For entrees our kids had linguini and meatballs which is off menu for kids and my wife had risotto far diablo and I had a seafood special with a rose cream sauce. Both were very flavorful with lots of seafood and the special had homemade pasta. Wait staff was attentive. Only downside was price, which was high even by shore standards. Overall it was a very solid meal.“
