“Open year round. Sandwiches are well made and tasty, they have delicious crumb cake and donuts (huge!) as well as other breakfast items. They also stock some essential items for a weekend stay. The folks that work here are always very accommodating and friendly. Located at the northern tip of Barnegat Light so grab a sandwich and a drink and walk over to the picnic tables by the lighthouse and watch the boats and fishermen.“

Doesn't come with fries, they have to be ordered separately, but there is a selection to choose from like boardwalk to old bay crab fries. You order at the counter and have a seat with the number you're given. Even before I sat down, they came out with my food. Everything was tasty. Half of our party went home with milkshakes. They recommend the chocolate covered strawberry shake. Staff was great, very friendly! There is a small parking lot available on site.“

“The vibe of this casual burger (plus!) restaurant is just awesome - super islandy, laid back, refreshing & relaxed. It's always busy, but we never feel rushed. There is live music outside on the patio weekly and the absolute friendliest service. Every meal we've had here has been consistently delicious and the meat they use for their burgers is just so tasty - it really stands out from all the rest. We can't wait for them to reopen every spring!!“

“Tomatoes is without a doubt the best around! My husband and I have loved everything we’ve gotten, they never miss. Their vodka chicken parm pie is one of our favorites! And we ordered chicken parm subs last night that were delicious. Even their cold subs! Also, any time I've been inside the guys behind the counter are super friendly. “We were in a pinch . Needed a seating fir 8 on St. Pattys. Sweet Jennys said if you can get here in 10 min. We can sit you. I might say we needed to be out because of a dance recital time line. SJ. “First time here! I got tomato soup and half a chicken salad sandwich. It was delicious and fresh with crunchy celery and carrots. The soup was creamy and hot. My husband got the soup, cheeseburger club sandwich with fries. He loved it! Place was clean and warm, since it was so cold out I really appreciated that. The food came out quickly and service was great! Can't wait to try the breakfast! Prices are reasonable as well.“

“Excellent place to eat. I've been here 8 or more times over the years on a date night and with three grown boys. Never did anyone order something they did not like. Always good service, fun and creative food for the family. Prices are very fair. My wife loves the fish/shrimp taco and I always get the pulled pork on a pretzel roll. Their catchup is great, not you standard out of the bottle kind. They leave wipes and a roll of paper towels on your table, so you can get messy and not worry. A great casual place to go out and not break the back.“

“My dad loves going here every time he walks in they have his bagel ready to go, he used to go to them all the time in Beachwood and when this crew moved to Waretown he followed, the people are amazing and so friendly.. great place to enjoy a great bagel“

“Excellent experience, the lovely hostess, Fatima (sorry if I misspelled your name, sweetheart) was absolutely amazing. She gave my wife fantastic recommendations for local attractions. She made sure our allergy and dietary requirements were known to our server and that it was my wife's birthday. She also made a point to stop by our table and make sure everything was going well after seating a nearby table while we were waiting on our food to arrive. What a beautiful smile, she has. I will forever carry cash in the future for the off chance that I encounter another Fatima, employees like her deserve tips as much as the servers. I hope you guys are taking good care of her!! Total gem. I wish she lived nearby our family restaurant. I'd try to poach her in a heartbeat. We will defintely be back on our next visit to Surf City!!“

“Ordered online on Friday night as we were heading to LBI for the weekend. It was ready when we got there a half hour later. We ordered two small pizzas (they only have small and large), garlic knots and mozzarella sticks. Everything was good! I love garlic knots and rarely have them. These were great!“
