Nice family owned couple run the diner. They have the best breakfast potatoes in the area. I usually stop in for a good breakfast every other week.

I had to run an early errand in Haddon Heights. When I finished, I Googled breakfast near me, Barrington Diner was one of the closest and had great reviews. It did not disappoint! The food was exceptional, super fresh and well prepared. I had eggs over easy with bacon, wheat toast and the breakfast potatoes. Every bite was amazing. I talked myself in to a short stack of pancakes (dessert with breakfast, LOL). I didn't finish them, but they were PERFECT -- best pancakes I've had in a while, just the right size and texture, cooked to perfection. The service was very friendly and prompt (I'm guessing from other reviews, it was Alex, I didn't catch her name). She was so attentive, refilling my coffee, checking that I was enjoying my meal, or seeing if I needed any thing else. Finally, the vintage atmosphere was like stepping back in time, it reminded me of the luncheonettes I went to as a kid in Brooklyn. The flat screen TV on top of the 50s or 60s vintage Coke fountain dispenser was a hilariously ironic touch.Everything about the experience here was amazing, I will definitely be back. Just so you know, they are cash only, so be prepared for that.

Another absolute gem, time capsule from a bygone era, authentic Jersey diner experience. I was the first person to be served today, Alex was wonderful, and the food was even more so. I had a long day ahead so I opted for some scrambled eggs, bacon and a short stack of pancakes. I almost NEVER get pancakes, I try to limit my carbs, but yeah, THESE WERE SO WORTH IT. The bacon was perfect to my taste, even the hash browns were done well. No artificial sweetener here, so I rocked plain old sugar (which I also limit/avoid) in my coffee. The decor is exactly what you expect for a place like this, I should have taken more photos. Anyway, this place ROCKS. Recommended!
