Wow! Social media and marketing are sooo integral and beneficial in our lives! A post card for $25 off a birthday meal brought my attention and patronage to Chuck Lager's a few months ago. We were so impressed with the space and food that I decided to have my daughter's milestone 21st birthday party here! Cindy, one of the manager's, did a stellar job in helping plan and execute the party, from my concept and our emails to the day of! We had a wonderful, cost free, private room to enjoy. It easily could hold 30-40 people. We had 22. It boasts an open airy feel, has three big flat screen tv's, speakers, heat lamps and fans. We arrived an hour early to decorate with balloons, banners, and table toppers. I also brought my daughter's custom cookies and ice-cream cake. Our server, Gianna, was very attentive, friendly, and sweet. She was always an earshot away and on point in all ways. I made sure to give her a nice cash tip. No room fee, plating fee, and the bill was reasonable for all the food we got - salads, flat bread pizzas (the fig prosciutto was insane!), wings, fries, and Bavarian pretzels. Every guest commented on how good the food / party was. We had our privacy, plus full access to the bar. Other than wishing we had outlets to use and a bigger trashcan, no other complaints at all. This party was stellar and as perfect as could be! :)

Large open bar/dining room with booths, high tops, and regular tables spread throughout- indistinguishable from lots of other American bars today. We had a first day server who was actually very nice and did a great job. I had the mandarin chicken salad for dinner and deviled eggs for an appetizer. Tasty and fresh but the vinaigrette dripped right to the bottom-it needs a bit of body to flavor the salad so I just dipped my forkful in the pool at the bottom. I ate the whole thing. DH had the grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries-those were thin wedges and very crispy with a side of marshmallow dip. The sandwich was brought out hot and tasty. DH was interested in a wrap sandwich which is not an option here. The beer list was pretty nice and so were the cocktails. I tried the rum punch which was described as having earl grey -or something like that- ice cubes - mine were regular ice cubes but the drink was sweet and summery. The hard floors and large space gets pretty loud and it can be a pain when the server has to talk pretty loudly so the customers can hear but that's pretty common.
It is perfectly fine. Service was ok, food was fine. Food was quickly served, so that was a plus.

Huge place with a restaurant side and a bar side. Roll up walls for the warmer weather. Live music! Great selection of brews and cocktails and food. Great service with super friendly staff. The smoked buffalo wings are delicious as well as the poutine.

Chuck Lager in Barrington, NJ is a super chill vibe with amazing service, shout out to our server Barry for being awesome. He saved us a bunch of money with happy hour deals, even though we arrived just minutes before 6pm. My fiance got the brisket burger and a side of Mac and cheese(house made) and I got the beer cheese burger and a side of street corn. Both meals were top notch. Burgers made to order, juicy and packed with flavor. Got some wings to go, can't wait to try them later after a little RnR. 5 out of 5 all day, will be back for sure!

Burgers, wings, tacos, and entrees phenomenal. If you want better food than Pour House, Central Taco, and PJs at the same price point come here. Those places might want to take notes on how to make good food instead of solely relying on their location and putting out mediocre product.

Let's start with the food: All fresh, great presentation, and very tasty. Crab Rangoon dip was very tasty and crunchy crab Rangoon chips. Wings were crispy and fresh. We ordered the sauce on the side. The sauce was very good and the blue cheese was very creamy. We got the beer cheeseburger and The southwest burger, and both were very tasty and fresh. The meat was perfectly cooked to medium and the bun is buttery and soft. The service is very attentive and ambience is awesome. Plenty of room to see the TVs on the wall and watch any game. We upgraded from chips to get two sides : one street corn, and one jalapeño cheddar mashed potato. Both were outstanding and very tasty. Drinks are very good. The lagerriga margarita with jalapeño was perfectly spicy. I got the Gin lemonade. It was a little sweet for my liking, but was overall very tasty. I found this place because of American Airlines dining, and will also rate on there. Will definitely come back.
