Tonewood is one of my favorite breweries in the area, and I love the space at the Barrington location! If you're a fan of delicious beer and good vibes, you have to check this place out!

Very good prices and beer.. but way too many children and babies every time we go. We just want to come grab a table and pay to drink but there will be parties for children and therefore it gets packed and there is nowhere to sit. This has happened multiple times and sometimes we have to just go elsewhere. You have to get there early enough to get parking and a seat.

Hmm... this is my third trip here and I can't believe that I've not left a review or comment. Oh well. This was the last stop for my son and me on our Saturday afternoon brewery crawl. This is where our wives and my granddaughter joined us. It's my son and granddaughter's favorite brewery due to its proximity and spaciousness. For me, it has the absolute best HC parking location l've ever encountered. The building is a huge modern beer hall with a large outdoor space. Plenty of drafts to choose from and lots of lots of employees to accept orders. Today it seemed terribly more crowed than during past visits. After a coffee porter, it was homeward bound for the five of us.

A very nice room, atmosphere (or vibes if you prefer) are positive and the beers are solid across the menu (not literally solid).

I like beer. I like breweries. I visit a lot of breweries and drink a lot of beer. This is, in my opinion, the best brewery in the Philadelphia region. I have never had a bad beer produced by Tonewood and many of them are very good to excellent. They always have a solid variety and don't ever miss. The Barrington location is spacious and modern with a nice outdoor area. The original space in Oaklyn is very small and traditional. Both are great in their own ways and the staff is always on point. Do yourself a favor and start drinking/visiting Tonewood right now.

Finally stopped in tonight to check this place out. Unfortunately for me the beer list is mostly IPA, but I found something I liked. We were sitting at the bar and at 9:15 they decided to open the side door and start breaking down their patio. It's 40 degrees out and they just left it open while they cleaned up at 9:15. It was so cold I had to leave my beer on the bar and check out at 9:25. I won't be back anytime soon. Bad first impression for me.

The October festival Marzen was great! However, as a person who traveled to visit this brewery, I was incredibly disappointed that I wasn't allowed a flight to try multiple beers. As a beer and wine proffessiknal and the purveyor of a liqour store (out of state), I was unhappy that I couldn't both drink responsibly and try multiple different beers at this establishment. It was quoted to me the reason was that "I wouldn't be able to taste the difference between the beers if served in a flight."Hopefully next time I make a long drive to visit a highly rated brewery I am able to sample more of what they have to offer.

Far and away my favorite brewery in New Jersey. Begins with a world class product: incredibly good beer. Also an excellent staff and generally great ethos. Two mugs up for Tonewood!

Tonewood doesn’t disappoint. Beautiful tasting room with kids of indoor and outdoor seating. Gets busy but beers are always delicious

Came by here on a Sunday afternoon on the way back to NY. One of two locations for this brewery, with this particular spot being newer and incredibly spacious. While they did have some food options, nothing looked very tempting. Decided to stick with the beers - starting with the Mona Citra ($6 for 16oz). An obvious citrus forward hoppy ale that's creamy on the pallette. Next on tap was the Improv IPA ($7 for 12oz). Strong double IPA that's juicy from the start and lingers through. Since we didn't get the food available at the bar, opted to order in from a nearby restaurant which they're totally cool with.Despite the large place, there aren't many bartenders to serve anyone. This means a bit of time before getting drinks. Fine spot to visit if you don't mind a detour.

Awesome second location for Tonewood! The original location in Oaklyn is just as nice just not nearly as large. The large brewery hall has plenty of seating for large and small groups with standing room tables and regular table seating. There is a second floor with additional seating that overlooks the brewing tanks and equipment. There is also a large back patio area that was set up for outdoor games. The beer they offer are a large variety of IPA’s, double IPA’s, and lagers. The soft focus was my drink of choice which was a lot like an allagash. The bartenders were very nice and helpful to find a beer that best suits your palate. They don’t offer food unless there’s a food truck for an event but there is plenty of options nearby in walking distance or that will deliver to the brewery. They are also dog friendly! Definitely recommend either location for a night out..
