I lucked into finding this coffee shop in Bay Head. Flat white was authentic(8oz) and fantastic. I bought a bag of the whole bean espresso roast. It's my favorite NJ based espresso roast by far and is close to being my favorite period.This place is awesome. Just order 2 bags of the espresso roast online for delivery.

I gave Port Coffee Roasters 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️What’s a barista’s favorite exercise at the gym?The French press??Okay, review time!Pros:- Fresh pour-over and espresso coffee, you can taste the quality!!! ☕️- Friendly staff who make you feel right at home!- Delicious empanadas, baked (not fried) to perfection (a great option for health-conscious folks who want to avoid fried)- Gluten-free Biscotti on point!!! I highly recommend adding the Biscotti to your coffee order!- Outdoor seating area is nice for sipping and enjoying the surroundings (in the warmer months)Cons:None! We are on our second high-end espresso machine, and although we are not pros, we do make a decent cup. I wish we had the know-how to pull a shot as smooth and consistent as Port Coffee Roasters. Their espresso rivals those I've had in Italy and France - deep, not bitter and so satisfying.When traveling, we scope out local non-SB cafes. Bay Head has more than one, but once we tasted their espresso there was no need to look further.This is a small business with very reasonable prices and deserve to be supported by anyone who loves a great shot. Had flat white, latte, cappuccino and double espresso - all delicious.If you look at the opinions of this store on the web, they are all five stars, except for the occasional customer who likely complains a lot. Don't give a small business a $100 bill at 7:00 AM; if you want a bathroom, go to SB and if your mobile order isn't ready the minute you want it, go to SB where mobile orders and drive-through take priority over people who walk into the store.So people, leave your complaints at home, be patient and enjoy the best coffee ever and patronize this small business so that they can continue to operate year after year.(Not to mention they are an incredibly nice and friendly couple)

When my family and I went down to the Jersey Shore for a week, I wanted to find my go-to coffee spot for quality coffee. This became our spot for awesome pour overs and empanadas (a totally unexpected treat!).I had to drive thirty minutes each morning to get there from where our hotel was but it was totally worth it!
