Great location for quality Chinese food. Nice place to meet and catch up with family. The service here is great. This place has a nice atmosphere. Atmosphere is similar to a place in Columbus I loved.

My preferred scene for Chinese food. Cool location to meet with coworkers. The staff was very helpful and observant. Bring your hunger - portions are large. I see why this place has so many good reviews.

I'm always down to try somewhere new and this place didn't disappoint. We were seated immediately. The dining area wasn't crowded but two big groups came and they joined a couple of tables together to accommodate them. There are huge TVs in the dining area with other TVs by the bar area which is pretty big. The soccer matches were on and some of the patrons were really excited and cheering for their teams. Although they were yelling when their team scored I didn't find it disturbing while eating. The food: Chips and salsa: It was delivered to the table a few minutes after we sat down. Chips were crispy and fresh. Salsa was nicely seasoned and went well with the chips. Steak Fajita: You get a lot of food. I didn't know my meal came with rice and refried beans. It was really good even the beans which I usually skip. The steak was cooked how I asked for it. All of the onions, peppers and tomatoes were fresh! I feel the steak couple have been seasoned a little bit more for my liking. The guacamole was okay. I like mine with a little more kick. Overall, this c was a good dish that I would order again. Chicken and steak enchiladas with the green salsa: I tried a few bites of the enchiladas. They were good and the green sauce was a little tangy which added to the flavor. You get four enchiladas and rice and refried beans. Tres leches cake: They had there flavors of the cake and my GF chose the peach flavor. She loves tres leches cake and orders it whenever it's on the menu. I don't like this cake but I always taste it. Why not? Lol. The cake comes with fresh mango slices at the side which is a nice touch. She said the whipped cream tasted homemade, the peaches weren't overpowering and the cake was moist like it should be. She enjoyed it. The few bites I had were good. Sangria: I wanted to try something a little lighter than my usual go to of margaritas. The waiter was nice to meet me sample the blue sangria before ordering it. It was okay but I opted for the small pitcher of white sangria. I thought it could be a tad bit sweeter but I'm not a wine/sangria drinker so I'm not sure how it's supposed to taste. I can admit it! I would order again though so I guess that's good. The waiter was really nice but service was a little slow even though it wasn't crowded. The entire bill was in the $60. I don't remember the exact amount but we both had leftovers for the next day. This will be in my Bayonne restaurant rotation!

Food is amazing, although I would not recommend the tuna steak which was not good whatsoever. Don't get it. The service was absurd the waiter was very slow and it took a long time to revive service. Also the music was terrible, basura if you will. There was 0 Spanish and only pop *with one hip pop song* when I'm supposed to get a Spanish vibe, you know? However the old location never disappointed and was always amazing.

Wonderful Mexican place and a small town gem. Step through their large wooden doors into a beautifully festive and bustling dinner spot! Fun and casual atmosphere with an authentic Mexican menu. Everything's good from the tacos to the sandwiches to the appetizers, with prices they won't break the bank. The bar situation is also pretty nice. They have a nice variety of tequilas and draft and bottled beer options. Word is they'll be opening their back patio soon.. can't wait to check it out! Check out the newest hotspot in town!!

It's the old "big Apple bar" redone with nice modern Mexican decor. The same owners as the other location on the north side of BAYONNE. It's the same great chips and sauce; overall the same food. They did down size the menu compared to the original location and added a few more. The place is loaded up with TVs for sports, also added buffalo wings (which the other location doesn't have). Overall great, you can't go wrong for the right price CC: my review for the other location. Same restaurant name, different address (both on broadway)

First time at this location and the quality of the food was outstanding. I am so glad for the new space. Plenty of bar space. By 7:00 p.m. there was a wait for a table in a Saturday night. Our server was a bit pushy with the drink specials but otherwise service was promt and attentive. Will be back again and again.

Found this nice Mexican restaurant while lost in Newark. The outside of the building was appealing and looked fairly new compared to other restaurants we seen. The inside was decorated nicely as well with a full bar. Food: They give you free chips and salsa before your entree comes. The salsa was very good. We also ordered nachos which came out burnt, but we didn't want to go through the trouble of sending them back. I had the El tradicion which is a traditional quesadilla with chicken. It was pretty good along with the guac. Drink: The blue sangria is to die for. I ordered 2 because they were so good. Service: Our server for the night wasn't very pleasant. He came to the table and seemed to be rushing us to order and we couldn't even get questions in because he was moving so fast. He would go missing and we would have to ask someone for him and when he came to the table he was like a thief in the night.

Tried them for the first time tonight and was really happy with the service, food and staff. The place is really clean and love the decor. I wish I would've taken photos of our plates but completely forgot as we starving! The orders came in a timely manner and you can tell they make things fresh. The regrows beans were seriously the best I've ever had!!! Definitely a spot to go back too even have a big event at, that's how big the space is. Great job guys!!! And before I forget the hostess is certainly the one with the mostest! Very friendly and understood the menu. Thanks!
