It's been hit or miss lately with this spot. Even with advance ordering, there's still room for improvement because the cashier isn't always allocated. It's possible that you'll have to wait for a sandwich maker. But the delivery guy is excellent and always willing to place an order for you. Sandwiches taste delicious cold. Sandwiches that are hot are ok. The meatballs smell just like fresh bread in addition to tasting that way. Still, it's worth a shot.

So from the moment I walked in, it was very weird. I walked in to order breakfast. First time trying this place. First, I asked for a hero bacon egg and cheese sandwich with a coffee. The lady says…. “It’s $6.50.” (Which is extremely expensive but I was willing to pay it anyway) I then say “for a hero or roll”. She replies… it’s 6.50 and up. So I said alright I’ll get that then. Then I repeat my order. She quickly writes it down and walk away. As I’m trying to pay nothing is loading in my phone so the cellular connection in there is horrible. Once I got outside again my phone was working fine. - Once I get my food I see it’s a roll. I say I ordered a hero and she replies no you didn’t, you didn’t say anything but take this… it’s the same thing.. you’re saving 50 cents. Etc. I can tell she’s working on online orders and walk-in’s perhaps but the customer service was horrible. And her response to the issue and her tone wasn’t appreciated. I would have disputed the issue if I wasn’t in a rush. I just ended up paying and leaving. This was an uncomfortable and frustrating experience. I will not recommend or return. Hopefully, moving forward they are more attentive to the specifications of their customers orders and to their customer service.

I ordered a Western Omelet with cheddar. When I got home I discovered that there was no ham in it! Who the hell makes a Western Omelet with no ham?? In addition the toasted roll was absolutely inedible. It was smashed flat and tasted like you were trying to eat a piece of cardboard. Absolutely flavorless. I never saw places mess up breakfast in my life until I tried to get breakfast in Bayonne and this place was another ridiculous disaster.

Your delivery man was not berated. He was called and told because we wanted him to know why he would no longer hear from us. We had been quite friendly with him. When my husband called on Thanksgiving, right after your delivery man left, he was put off and told the turkey was shredded to convenience us.???? Shame on you. I could have went on further but didn't. The food was cool. Not warm any longer. Yes, we dumped it That was turkey for soup not to be plated. If I wanted to make soup I would not have ordered food for the holiday. We paid $120 to feed 10-12 people the basics. Thank GOD I made a ham and baked ziti to add to the expected meal comings. I had family bringing veggies and Mac and Cheese so we made it through without your sloppy. That was not enough turkey for 8 people. I left a picture of the two round tins the size of my hand. There were mixed vegetables from a #10 tin and cold flat tasting mash potatoes that were most likely flakes. A few of my family members said the mashed yams or sweet potatoes were good.. HOORAY! $120 for a 1/2 tray of sweet mashed sweet potatoes. Dumping the extra left over desserts on us because it was the end of the day did not make up for the scraps of turkey good only for soup or a pet. My receipt said WHITE MEAT and two legs. Whole legs is what was expected with sliced white breast meat.

I ordered 2 Thanksgiving meal packages. Each package was supposed to feed 4-6 people. It includes turkey, mixed vegetables, mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, and a pie. I requested all white meat and one turkey leg for each order. What I got was two round tins of shredded turkey. I called the establishment and was told that was enough food. I then asked where is the carved turkey ? The owner told me he broke it up for me. It was broken up as if you were going to make soup. Palermo Deli ruined Thanksgiving dinner for 12 guests. Please look at the picture of what was sent. This is the second chance I gave this establishment. DO not let them cater your holiday party.

It was good Until I bought 2 medium sandwiches and got charged $26 , totally over charged,go to benanties on 22 nd street or Giovanni on Broadway, this store is not worth it
This spot has been hit or miss lately. The wait times could be improved even after ordering ahead - the cashier isn't always assigned. You might have to wait for one of the guys making sandwiches. However, the delivery driver is great and always ready to put in an order for you. Cold sandwiches are great. Hot sandwiches are so-so. The meatballs not only taste like straight bread but they smell like it too. Worth a try though.

Local real Italian restaurant with really good food. Their sandwiches are the best! Fresh high quality meats and in-house made mozzarella cheese. Their sandwich bread is phenomenal and made with pride and love! We always grab lunch there when we are working in Bayonne!
