I’ve purchased twice from them before via Door Dash and the food was decent. Today, I went inside the store and ordered and I saw the store wasn’t exactly the cleanest but nonetheless I ordered. I take my food and when it was time to eat, I realized 3/4 sushi boxes I ordered were STALE. The rice was rock hard. The fish was not fresh. I called customer service and asked for a refund on my card and she told me she could not do so and I had to come back into the store today to get a full refund. I was unable to go back as I was not close to the store at all and did not want to waste time driving to and from. I have never written a bad review for anyone and this is my first one. Sarku Japan , Bayonne is absolutely disgusting.
The food was good, but there is one thing I don't like about this location.Is that when we are dinning in we ask to get a freshly done sushi. They deny it, because they say they have it in the fridge from the grab and go, which is "GRAB and GO" im not grabbing and leaving. The fridge ones are stale and cold which is the issue.

Tonight I had the worse experience. I purchased 5 chicken, veggies and rice dinners that tasted absolutely horrible. I'm doing this review because I don't think this the only time . I called about ot but Jessica was trying to help but the manager wasnt having that.. no compensation for it. The place was packed so no one took time to ensure that the customers got what they were paying for. $55 wasted.
I had the chicken teriyaki with broccoli and white rice it's delicious ?. The chicken wings are very tasty ?.

1st time here while in Bayonne. Food was much better than i anticipated. Young lady taking the order was friendly and helpful. Had to wait at the counter for a few minutes before they realized i was there. 2 enmloyees sitting on the floor behing the register on their phones and the cook was visably on hos phone and never noticed me waiting. Kind of odd but the food was good.
