This weekend I am celebrating a milestone Birthday. Barbara from Floral is the best! She helped me pick out the perfect flowers for my center pieces for my Birthday brunch. She is knowledgeable, helpful and really went out of her way to ensure I had exactly what I needed. Shoprite of Bayonne is lucky to have such an amazing, dedicated employee.

I order items that are big and heavy to be delivered in home. I specifically noted not to bring the items upstairs but call and we will open the garage door. No one called to notified us they are delivering, took all the items upstairs and took off. Now we have to bring them downstairs again. I called and spoke to the Manager but he said there is nothing they can do about it because delivery is outsource Point and Pick UP. I should call them to complain. I told him he is the manager and should fix this problem.

Great selection of wine, beers, and more. Kind, attentive staff who actually care about suggesting you something good to drink. Great prices compared to other places in Bayonne as well. Will definitely be back.

I have been banned from using their shop from home delivery app. I have shopped this store for over 30 years. The new store manager Nick is the worst. I am not getting the groceries that I ordered and payed for. When I recently got a delivery from the store again I did not get some of the groceries I paid for. When I called the online department and spoke to the manager of that department all she would say to me was that my order went out and that she bagged some of my order. I asked her why then did I NOT get some of my groceries that I paid for she again repeated that my order went out. She then told me that she would call the driver and ask if he had any of my bags in his truck. I waited 2 hours and called back and was put on hold for over 20 minutes. I called again and this time I got the store Manager Nick who stated to me that he would not reshop my order for the things missing or give me a refund. When I told him that I am not the only person in Bayonne having this problem he stated that I was the only one that day. About an hour later I received a call from Corporate ShopRite who stated that I am banned from using the shop from home service again.I can not go to the store and shop as I am disabled, have no car and taxis are expensive. I can not use the motorized carts at the store as they are at the other side of the entrance to the store and I can not walk that far.I have even called other stores in other close by towns to see if they would deliver to me but they said no.I just want what I paid for.

Before I begin this review let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone,so with that being said let's go!!..This is my first visit at this particular location and I would like to say that this location is quite similar to the other one/s I visited! I left out two stars out because: 1: They had the Smartfood white cheddar popcorn on sale (that's some good popcorn by the way) but they put the wrong size in the wrong area so I had to go to customer service and get it straight but I will say they made it right!.2: The escalator was broken on the way down!.

Shop Rite in Bayonne is horribly cashier staffed. Most times the wait in line is longer than shopping. It's terrible to navigate because there are end caps taking up half the aisle. Produce has got to be the worst. I swear they take left overs. Stop n Shop, Aqui and Amazon produce lasts days if not a week. Bayonne Shop Rite produce is sometimes bad the next day, the apples are rotten inside & the cucumbers are shriveled to name just a few. Shop Rites outside of Bayonne are great. Shop Rite of Bayonne is a rip off inboth time & fresh quality.

This store has become the WORST place ever to shop , let me start by saying there are NEVER enough registers open , today I was there and there were actually 5 registers open , but that is the least of all my problems . 2 weeks ago I was there and got a large order and asked for delivery , I left the store at 5:30pm , but 9pm my groceries still not here so I called and some lady tells me that she didn't have any order in my name . SERIOUSLY !!! After a 15 minute wait she tells me she gonna see what she can do because delivery is only until 8:30pm ( like it's my problem ) the kid who checked me out didn't enter my cart into the delivery area , so my stuff were simply sitting there until I called and yet it took them till 10pm to deliver . I was hoping that was a one time event .. Than I was there again today , left the store at 4:20pm , requested delivery , as of 7pm I called to check on the Oder once I had already been through a bad experience 2 weeks ago . WELL WELL.. it turns out my order ARILL in the store and the so called delivery service is not even scheduled to pick it up until sometime between 7-8pm . Which means I will probably NOT get my stuff until 10pm AGAIN . I then ask to speak to a manager and asked him what happened to the 2 hour delivery window policy they had ?! His answer was that there is no guarantee as of when your order will be delivered because they hire a third party . SERIOUSLY ??? This is absolutely RIDICULOUS who the hell needs to wait a 4-5 hour window to get their stuff delivered ?! You mine as well call an Uber and take your stuff home ... cause if you call them you'll get an attitude for free..

So I place my order with online shopping. I get a text message stating 3 items out of stock. Naturally i called to try to discuss alternatives even though it is noted that I said allow substitutions. I call 3 times, someone answers i request the online department, transferred no one picks up. I get a call from a delivery person stating they are on their way. I would think common sense would say maybe they should consider a policy that states if an item is not in stock they should call the person ordering to let us know. At that point we can discuss alternatives. The only reason I used shoprite online order as oppose to walmart online was because they didn't have a particular water in stock and shoprite did. that specific item was exactly 1 of the 3 items that shoprite falsely advertised as being in stock.
