Small place with amazing food. The owner is friendly and helpful. Their homemade soup was amazing when I had a cold. Came back again and had the ziti with meatballs. Amazing!! Fantastic old school Italian food and sandwiches.

4 stars alone for the cannolis which are out of this world, if it wasn’t for them this would have got 3 stars. The place is cute inside and has about 5 small tables to sit at. They used to be closed at 7 but now are open to 8. We got meatball platter which comes with 4 meatballs and bread, ziti, chicken parm sandwich and 2 cannolis. Came to $44. The food was ready right away and the pick up was easy. Chicken parm had no cheese on it. Maybe that’s the way they make it but it’s weird to have a parm sandwhich without gooey mozzarella. The bread lacked flavor. The sauce was good. The meatballs are were good. They were big, plump, tasty. But nothing special. Ziti was a nice portion but it tasted like stinky cheese to me.The cannolis are huge!!! Filled with cream. Super crisp, yummy shell and the cream is rich, creamy and not too sweet. One had chocolate chips on it and the other didn’t. I guess I have to specify if I want chocolate chips or not. I actually liked the one without chocolate chips the best because it was just idk so creamy and I can focus on tasting the cream.I would come back here and try the soup since I hear it’s good, skip everything else and just get a million cannolis.

What can I say...my wife's family is from Bayonne and staying there this summer they suggested (no....HEAVILY RECOMMENDED) that I visit this establishment. From the moment I walked in I was treated like royalty. Amazing and friendly service. The owner was kind enough to walk me through the specials and give me some context as to what they offered.Highlights: Tremendous bread, delicious baked sandwiches with takes on eggplant/chicken parm along with a staple meatball sub. The special sandwich that day was a breaded chicken patty sandwich with red peppers and mozzarella (the telltale moozadell') along with an outrageous cold seafood salad. This food is tremendous, can't miss and you should absolutely make it a point to visit.

I read a review and stopped to try myself. I took a meal home including meatballs, lasagna, seafood salad, and eggplant and everything was fresh and so delicious. The family enjoyed everything. I will always go there for all my Itilian Food. Can't be any better than this.

Very disappointed. I ordered an eggplant parm sandwich and I was given just plain eggplant with no bread or cheese. Never going back.

Delicious food! We had his sandwiches and platers, we also go there for the specials. The stuffed peppers are just like grandma used to make and the broccoli rabe with sausage and pasta is highly addictive. The soup is a must try too, especially if you’re feeling under the weather. The sauce is so good, you can drink it with a spoon but dipping in his Brooklyn bread is even better. Don’t try the cannoli first or you’ll end up eating your dessert before dinner. I speak from experience. ??If you want quality, tasty and amazing food you must try The Sicilian Guy!

If you have not been to The Sicilian Guy, you need to get your life together and go.The sandwiches are well crafted, ample, and simply delicious. There are always new specials, in addition to the menu. The service is very friendly, courteous, and professional. Riccardo is one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to meet.If you are looking for a fantastic meatball sub, this is your place. The bread is the perfect mix of chewy and soft, the meatballs are large and full of flavor. The sauce is robust with a nice hint of garlic.Everything is amazing, but you should start with the meatball sub.Don't even get me started about the soup. Or the fresh cannolis. This is fast becoming one of my go to spots.

The food was outstanding! We had meatballs and sausage, freshly baked bread….so delicious. Owner is super friendly and knowledgeable. Upon arrival our kids said, as they walked in ,that it smelled like the best food they have ever smelled in their life.

Food was very good. I ordered ahead and food was ready for pickup. Restaurant was clean, and smelled appealing. I only used the rake out service.

Amazing meatballs. Amazing fresh cannoli, hooks them up best in town. Prosciutto bread? Insane. You’ll kill that entire bread in a sitting. Great friendly guy, can tell loves what he does. Stop reading, go order already!
