I went there last August with my family and my sister in law who was visiting from overseas. The waitress took a long time to bring our drinks. My Guiness, when finally came after over 30 minutes, was simply rudely dropped on our table and it seemed to have been seating for while out of the fridge before being brought to our table. The manager noticed and came over to apologize and brought a glass and poured the very warm beer in the glass. We did not complain at any moment but the waitress still wasn’t friendly towards us but seemed very pleasant with other costumers who were white. We felt racially profiled by her. We did not complained and just thought she wasn’t having a good day and we still gave her a generous tip anyway, but we will never go back there.

The security here is trash. I’m leaving now and this man cursed me out for going under a rope that I thought was another line. He took me and my boyfriend out of line and cursed me out. Whoever this is should be fired and never put into an authority position again. He made me cry and made my experience here terrible!!!!

We booked a 30 person rehearsal dinner on chowderfest weekend and they crushed it! On one of the busiest weekends of the year they sat us right down, had our (delicious) food and drinks flowing immediately and did not miss a beat! I couldn’t say enough great things about the experience.
Great nightlife environment. Fun live band and concert area, chill outdoor patio bar, and classic indoor bar area all under the same roof. Our group had a blast both nights we went.

Food came out quick and tasted great! The atmosphere was rough. We were a family with a baby and were seated upstairs. We had to rush through dinner because the music was obnoxiously loud, like nightclub loud. I couldn't even speak to my husband who was right next to me without yelling. Younger guests seemed to love it but just take into consideration who you are seating upstairs with the DJ. Downstairs seemed much more appropriate and we would have waited for a table if we had been informed. We will go again, we just now know to ask for downstairs seating :)

Bird and Betty’s has a great location by the bay in Beach Haven. Unfortunately, they have a rather shortsighted reservation policy that ruined our dining experience.We had a reservation for indoors, because the upstairs deck is first come first serve. Fair enough. When we arrived and asked to be seated in one of the open upstairs deck tables, we were informed that we would have to cancel our indoor reservation and pay the $25/pp cancellation fee.I spoke with the manager, Lindsey, who said that she could understand my frustration, but she was unwilling to accommodate my request, despite the fact that there were several open tables inside and outside throughout the evening. Instead of creating a loyal customer, they have one who will not return.

Delicious food. The seasoning on the fries and wings is quite delicious. But prepare to have garlic breath, worth it. The food came out very quickly. However, they rarely cleared a dish until the end of the meal. The waitstaff is attentive and friendly. The bathrooms - a shock at the condition you can find them in. For such a nice establishment, I would expect the bathrooms to be cleaner.

After hearing so much about this restaurant, I'm glad I finally was able to check it out on my visit to LBI. I also completely understand the hype. The restaurant is absolutely huge - with a deck upstairs with bay-side views and a very large first-level main room where my friends and I were seated. It was very crowded when we arrived at 7pm on a Saturday, so we were nestled away at a table next to a bustling bar. We started the evening off with 6 oysters on the half shell, which were paired with some tartar sauce and lemon. They were fresh and absolutely delicious - a perfect appetizer to share with a group. For our meals, we ordered lobster rolls and a fried chicken sandwich. The lobster roll was good (but doesn't beat a New England lobster roll), and the fried chicken sandwich was very fresh and filling. The side of fries (which we had to substitute for an extra cost) were pretty standard in terms of taste, but the portions were substantial. Overall, I was pretty happy with the dining experience and overall atmosphere of this bustling Beach Haven restaurant.

What a great spot on LBI, right by the water, food was great, service was outstanding, and atmosphere was perfect. Right by the water so you can catch a great sunset. The rooftop has some amazing views as well. Celebrated my friends birthday, and it was perfect. Definitely get the octopus appetizer it was done perfectly, the calamari, baked clams, as well as the fig pizza.Kid-friendliness: There were a lot of families there, so definitely kid friendly!

Food was OK, but couldn't say we would run back for anything, could not taste much goat cheese on the goat cheese pizza. Main problem we had was the noise level.
