My favorite spot on the Island. Food is always on point and the staff is great. Just good people!

Despite wanting to eat here after seeing so many awesome reviews, we had an unenjoyable experience on Labor Day night. We showed up as a party of two with a dog and was told we just had to wait for an outside table, but we reassured having the dog was not an issue. I was happy to wait however long, especially given the holiday crowds.Throughout our 30 minute-long wait, six parties of various sizes that came after us were sat. A very kind busser assured us he was cleaning off a specific table for us (and even pointed out the table). A minute later, a group showed up to the restaurant, took the table without asking the host, and were immediately served.Someone else (the manager?) tried to tell us that another party sat ahead of us had been waiting since before we showed up, but we saw that entire party arrive and put their name in after us.I understand that we were a small party and had to sit outside -- and I don't mind waiting at 1st come 1st serve places -- but I didn't appreciated being lied to by the staff. We weren't given a specific reason as to why all the staff seemed to ignore us, and we wound up leaving after seeing almost every outside table turn over for other people. If this was all just caused by busyness and miscommunication, we would have appreciated being told that by the manager instead of being dragged along. In the time we waited, we truly could have ordered, eaten, and made the table available for other guests. I look forward to coming back to actually try the food soon, but I'll wait for a slower day and not bring my dog next time.

Every time we eat at Dock & Claw the experience beats the previous one. The kids loved the tuna poke (amazingly fresh), burger and fish tacos. The oyster flight was great! The atmosphere makes you feel like you’re eating at your friends house.

First timeBack since the new owners, really love the vibe still. The fish tacos were bomb and the Korean calamari was really good.Definitely recommend this byob place!

Creative dishes. The mac and cheese was fast and the burrata peach salad was one of my fave dishes we had on our trip. Kombucha was a bit too tart for my liking but delicious food overall

Exactly what a clam shack is supposed to be. Everything is shucked right in front of you. BYOB with tubs of ice for beer and wine. Owner is a cool dude also.

Wow. What a revival story! This place was fantastic before, but with new ownership and new menu they have somehow kept the old vibe with new food options. Fantastic location! It is small so be ready to wait for a seat or table.

Absolutely amazing. All of the food was SO good, reasonably priced, and the service was incredible. If you are on LBI, Dock & Claw is a must.

We were told to use the QR code for the menu. I personally wanted steamed clams and that is why I was there. I also ordered the side of Mac and cheese. I originally wanted to get the fish tacos but was told it was too much food. Oh well- another meal in my future! They can sell wine but do not have a liquor license. The house white was not good. My friend got the clam chowder. I only tasted it but was very impressed with how flavorful it was. I got the clams and they did not disappoint. Lots of delicious broth and bread for dipping. The Mac and cheese was creamy too. Loved the French fries. Very casual eating outside.
Great beach bar. Freshly shucked clams and oysters plus some steamed clams and mussels. Tuna poke was amazing and so was the street corn. Mac n cheese looked excellent - I’ll be getting that next timeKid-friendliness: Small kids menu

This place has really turned into something special. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is more fun than ever. It's the great old classic flavours of LBI: great clams, oysters, mussels, fish but with some modern influences that make it interesting but it isn't overdone. Fun staff, fun clientele. Recommend it!

The crab legs were a bit dry and barely had any meat in them. The waitress was super nice! The rest of the food ordered was amazing!!! There was one guy working there.. maybe the manager? who kept throwing empty beer cans and trash over people's shoulders as they were sitting in front of the garbage can that was behind the counter. I don't think that is acceptable especially when people are paying for the food as well as the experience. Overall I would recommend eating here and would come back!
