The Hud is the best bar. To date, it is the only bar I will even consider frequenting. On or off the island it's the best bar around. The atmosphere is fun and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. You can't help but feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. From the shuffleboard table to all the things hanging from the walls there is so much to look at and enjoy. It has the vibe that many others try hard to imitate but seldom do they succeed. It's the dive bar that isn't trying hard to be cool. It just freaking is. Live a little.....try it out and see for yourself...

Small neighbor hood bar that is family owned. Locals and visitors alike find it an interesting place, especially if you like the movie Jaws which runs 24/7! lol Lots of games available like darts, a punching bag, shuffle board, etc. Trit once!!

Fun bar that's tucked into a side street. If you're looking for a dive bar vibe, this is the place to be. Their drinks are inexpensive and strong, & they have plenty of games as well. The staff is also super friendly and accommodating considering how busy and packed they get. Would recommend coming here early as it gets really crowded.

If you go to Long Beach Island and you have done all of the essentials, make sure this is on your list. Hudson house not only offers the friendliest staff but also the cheapest drinks on the island. I have never felt the need to leave a review for anywhere but this place deserves it. A new family favorite, Hudson House!

Legit. At every level. Ambiance is 1979 local where everybody knows your name. Beer on tap and also the old fashioned way, in bottles. Jaws on heavy VCR rotation. Bartenders who doing their jobs, thanks, without b******** I'd ask for better bathrooms but then again fortune favors the brave. The smart money heads to the Hudson.
