I've been coming here ever since I started coming to the island 25 years ago. The place is clean. The food is good enough. Are they the best in the island? No. Can you get better food somewhere else? Sure. I think there's something to be said about great customer service and that's where it's really gone downward. There's no service with a smile. There's no sense of being conscientious about what they're doing for the customer, at least not at the hot food section. The ice cream end had other people facing the customers so maybe they're better. I can't recommend this place anymore and I'm honestly sad about that. They were always my go-to spot whenever visiting the island and I always recommended them to anyone coming to the island. But it's all gimmicky now...they're selling "Legalize Marinara" magnets. Seriously? Will that help to send the folks at the counter to customer service conferences where they can learn how to speak to the customers in the store and on the phone? Here's hoping!

I will start by saying we are big fans of the mainland Joeys. We came down to the island on a Friday night. It was about 7 PM. There was 1 other table sat inside.There is no wait service- you order at the counter and then they call you up to get your food. (Call is actually putting it nice - they scream your name) The menu items are listed on boards on the wall.The counter girl seemed like I was bothering her when I placed my order. The music and phones are insanely loud so sitting to wait and eat is unbearable.The linguini with meatballs was mediocre at best. I made it tolerable by using the garlic, oregano and red pepper flakes they keep on the counter for pizza slices. I didn’t dare ask for a little Parmesan in fear the counter girl would bite my head off or her eyes would roll back permanently into her head.The plain slice and buffalo chicken cheesesteak were ok.Will not return to this location.

Ordered three pizzas for takeout. The two I tried were very good. The white pizza has nice size gobs of ricotta to go with the cheese and hint of garlic oil. Joey's special was also very good, with a crust that is just the right consistency between pillowy and crunchy. We ordered online, which somehow avoided the 3% credit card fee (the fee is the reason for the deducted star). You can also order via Slice (which charges a flat fee that might be cheaper for larger orders).

We ordered pizzas, pasta and hot and cold sub sandwiches from Joeys' Pizza the week we were on LBI. Everyone agreed that the food was excellent. We even bought extra so there would be leftovers for the next day's lunch. Definitely the place to go in Ship Bottom.

This is definitely the place for White Pie, absolutely delicious. Plain was good too, the staff is excellent and try to be extra helpful,,,place is always busy, that is a telling sign for good food on the island.
Soft crust, not crispy. Rather bland. Wouldn't bother again. Kind of a waste of calories, but if you're starving..... nice young people at counter. Looked very clean.

They are lucky they are on LBI!I ordered a $28.00 pizza along with mussels at 5:15pm this evening and it arrived at 6:55pm.You read this correct. When I called they kept telling 10 more minutes. 10 minutes turned into 1 3/4 hours. When I called the store I spoke with a rude person who told they don't normally deliver to my area and didn't know why the online order accepted the order. Acted like it was fault. Imagine that?if the attitude of the in store person was better I would consider using them again, but not now, not ever.NEVER AGAIN!

If I could rate this place 0/5 stars I would; however, yelp doesn't let me do that. This establishment needs to have a complete turnover of staff. Words of advice- do not post your business on meal delivery services if your prices aren't correct on them. And if you do accidentally mess the prices up you probably should honor them until they are fixed. I mean the 150 dollars plus tip I was giving we more than reasonable for your microwaved frozen pizza. Since it wasn't enough i was gladly ready for you to cancel my order since it wad YOUR MISTAKE. but it took two hours and several complaints from several different people. That's absurd. I hope your business gets crushed. Above all else you kept my poor uber eats driver hostage for an hour. They already are barely getting by. I hope you feel good about yourself. I wouldn't recommend dealing with this business to my worst enemy, matter of fact I rather swear loyalty to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jung Un before giving you any business.Save yourself time, money, and energy and just get a frozen pizza from the grocery store. The management at this establishment is the reason why Jersey people get a bad reputation.
