Wonderful food, excellent outdoor tiki bar with varied music throughout the week and season. Everyone is super friendly and professional. I never miss visiting my favorite beachside bar and restaurant when I'm on the island. I've been going there for 36 years, and it just keeps getting better. Wonderful remodel in the motel last year too! Best spot on the island!

I had my wedding at The Shell on 10/21/23, the last wedding of their fall wedding season. From my first wedding planning meeting all the way through the day of the wedding, I have nothing but amazing things to say about choosing The Shell as my venue. Jaimee and Brittany are the wedding planners and they were so helpful, completely reachable, accommodated special requests, and just fantastic at what they do. I had so much confidence in them on the day of the wedding for the whole venue to be set up perfectly and for everything to run smoothly, and they did not disappoint! It felt like they were always 10 steps ahead of me and I was able to completely be present and enjoy myself. I cannot thank them enough for that. Jaimee and Brittany also recommend amazing vendors that they know, love and trust, and I felt like I had the best team of people on site the day of to make the room+beach ceremony STUNNING! Lastly, the food was SO good. I completely trusted Jaimee and Brittany with their menu recommendations, and I do not regret it one bit! All of our guests RAVED about the food and said it was their favorite wedding they’ve been to! If you’re looking for a beach wedding with a warm personal feel and amazing food, and all your guests can stay right on site…I HIGHLY recommend The Sea Shell!

Back in January I planned my sister bachelorette at the Seashell with Brittany’s help. 2 Rooms were requested and booked through an external link. Confirmation letters were never received untill management was contacted. A confirmation letter was then received but with the wrong dates. When confronted about this mistake this resort told me they were not responsible for any mistakes made on their confirmation letter. I was eligible for their particular refund of about $200.00 but would be responsible for taking the remaining $1500.00. This of course was requested to be refunded due to their reservation making abilities- when the sea shell report responded that we were taking food from their families mouths. Long story short I would not recommend booking any stays with this resort or participating in any business with them for that matter.

Five. Stars all around when it comes to this venue for weddings. The wedding planners did an excellent job making sure that my dear friends day went off seamlessly. It’s the greatest location. The rooms were perfect. And the view was unbeatable. We had such a lovely time!

When we first met Brittany & Jaimee it was the first venue we saw, we knew we loved it from the location to the hospitality. We had lunch on site to think about it and the first bite of food sealed the deal! We called Brittany over and booked on the spot.From day 1 to the end everything was so smooth since Brittany & Jaimee are your wedding planners. In fact I walked in 2 hours before the wedding and said “are you sure I’m not supposed to be doing anything”? It felt TOO easy!Our wedding completed without a single hiccup and in fact, 3 weeks later we are still getting compliments from the venue to the food.We are confident in saying we could not have chose a better venue to celebrate our big day. We’re truly saddened it’s over because The Shell helped make our big day, the best day ever.We stayed over a few extra nights and it was so relaxing! We highly recommend using the Oceanfront room to get ready in and to enjoy a couple days after.Rooms: Clean & modernizedNearby activities: Very close to all of LBI’s attractions, and plenty to do on resort!Food & drinks: The food is amazing and the drinks are made well!

Rooms are small. Bathrooms are nice and you get a nice big TV. Obviously close to the beach and nice places in Beach Haven. If you spend more time away from the hotel then the small room won't consider you.
Have been staying here for years since before kids. Love this place and the beach/tiki/pool area. Took the family there for drinks and live music after our dinner and it was such a lovely night. There's access to the beach, I like that they have mats leading to the beach it makes walking and rolling carts so much easier. One of my favorite places in lbi

I wish I could give no stars. A tropical storm came through during our honeymoon dates and flooded Long Beach Boulevard, but the manager Brittney was unwilling to work with us. She, and other workers, were rude, uncaring and non-congratulatory. Instead of considering the special circumstances and finding a solution they acted without any human decency and took nearly $1,000 without the provision of any goods/services, THIS IS NOT HOSPITALITY. We should have read the reviews before booking since this seems to be an ongoing theme.

Just attended a wedding here. There was a tropical storm unfortunately, so it wasn't the beach wedding they had hoped for. But the staff made sure to make it work, and they made sure to put everyone at ease. The food was amazing!! Cocktail hour had some of the best seafood I've ever had, and the entree was good too. Breakfast the next day was tasty as well. I definitely would love to come back here next summer, hopefully with good weather!
