We decided to visit here on our last night on the island for dinner. The food was excellent and staff was very friendly.

Stuffed flounder was extremely overpriced at 53.00. The flounder was a little dry and the crab stuffing mediocre. My wife had pasta which was the only redeeming entree. Service was OK. I won't be back for a seafood dinner here and it would be tough to recommend to my local friends. I don't think you know the meaning of market price with your markup.

It's a restaurant, not a hotel. Food was 4 out of 5 stars. Service was 5 out 5 stars

ONE AND DONE - first time at the Beach House. The food was very mediocre and the prices ridiculous. My husband ordered the stuffed flounder, sticker shock at the bill, $53, really? For flounder? The chowder was too herby and we were in and out in less than 45 minutes. This was a one and done, sorry guys. Maybe we ordered the wrong things but we were not impressed, at all. Don’t understand the positive reviews.

Such a disappointing experience at The Beach House restaurant in LBIThe food was good, wait staff friendly but the management sucked! We had a reservation for 16 people at 5:00. When we arrived the tables were placed on opposite sides of the restaurant. We asked to be closer together and she said no without even considering it. When we left after our dinner there were still empty tables. They could have easily accommodated us.The point I am making is you could have put the tables closer together.

One of our favorite restaurants on LBI. Last night our family of 5 started off with tuna bites, shrimp cocktail, and calamari, entrees were blackened salmon, grilled salmon, chicken, house special halibut, and crab cakes. All entrees were delicious and served hot! The service is always great, as they are experienced, attentive and friendly! Bonus is it is a BYOB!

I understand that prices are high at the shore and you expect to pay. This was NOT value for money. The service was OK, the food was absolutely sub par. Entree came with starch OR vegetable, $9 to substitute pasta for potato. Alfredo sauce was thick and pasty, the tuna was ordered rare so only one side was cooked and the shrimp smelled…off. There are a lot of great restaurants on the island. This is not one of them.

We had the seafood vodka penne which was to die for, plus some very good and perfectly grilled medium-rare sushi-grade tuna. The salad was crispy, fresh, and they allowed us to dress with vinagrette to our own level of taste. The ambiance is very nice, especially for a LBI restaurant. We also appreciated that the resaurant is BYOB which saves money, but they were instantly at the ready with wine glasses and ice buckets.Service was excellent, not rushed, but kept a nice spacing and pace. This was our first time there based on a recommendation, but we will be back for sure.

Excellent food and service here! I'd highly recommend the prime rib and bbq ribs and bacon wrapped scallops. Very good with allergies - they were able to accommodate my son's gluten/dairy/egg allergy - he could have both the bacon wrapped scallops, bbq ribs and prime rib. But, i wish they would offer gluten free fries....that would have been a real treat. :) also byob fyi!

Never can leave LBI without having dinner at THE BEACH HOUSE. The ambience is inviting (inside or outside dining). Our recent visit was excellent as always. Started off with soup and clams on the half shell. The salad for two was plentiful. My go-to dish is the seared scallops and they were cooked to perfection as well as the side dish of couscous. The owner is very friendly and will stop and chat. She has very pretty and interesting plantings around the restaurant. Our server Denise was efficient and friendly. Thank you all for another wonderful dining experience.
