“I've been eating here since 1994 when the first location opened in Marlboro. This place taught child me what rotisserie even meant. They've done well for themselves and now have a number of locations. In a world where everything tastes manufactured they've managed to provide quality home cooked food without compromise. “I’ve been coming to crowns since I was in high school and it’s just something about the fried chicken and fries that just are always right! I miss the old staff I don’t see them much but I see their sons are working here and I think that is amazing! John! I remember him always being so pleasant and welcoming especially to the kids/teenagers that use to come late hours eat and hang out. Definitely will always be a staple in my memories. “Ok..I saw the pics of the food and decided to go. Now I expected black cooks "known" for a certain type of seasoning on the chicken to be behind the counter, and to my surprise...it wasn't. As I was about to do my best MJ, and moonwalk right back the hell out, I said Phuket, imma give it a shot. Now whether it's Italian, Mexican, Asian, soul food, etc. I'm leaning towards that person "known" for cooking the food it's best. FTR I have had plenty of bland fried chicken..consistently, so I'm specific about where I get it and who's cooking it. Today I wasn't in the mood for bland chicken...so I prayed for the best. To my surprise..the chicken was seasoned, the FRIES were seasoned too GTFOH (and not just salt I don't think)!! With that being said, "never judge a book by its color". I tore that 3 piece apart! Fossilized all 3 of em bitches! If you can fossilize a THIGH...u know it was good! Great job to the cook, management, whoever caught them chickens, everybody. I also let them know how well it was seasoned. Was it the best chicken in the world..Noo..but it was still good AF! Food was great, didn't need to be double dipped and extra extra crispy bullshit. It was perfect the way it was, right amount of seasoning and crunch and def will be back! I usually top out at 4-stars cause 5 means u can't go no higher, but for what I ordered, the food and price, was perfect, zero complaints, 5 stars!“
“I usually only stop in for a soda as I work next door and it's really convenient owners really nice I decided to try the mozzarella sticks and they were really good I'm not a huge chicken person but I saw a coworker bring in food form them and it always looks good.“

“I absolutely love it a clean restaurant sit in is amazing service I went in yesterday there was an amazing boy and girl who seemed to have a bond we were looking to try something new cause we always get the roasted chicken and they gave us pointers and got there favorites and I have to say definitely 10/10 absolutely amazing and they definitely clean up after that old staff that was perviousKid-friendliness: Definitely open arms to younger kids I always go in and the girl always ask if it’s ok to give my son a corn bread“
“I had my birthday a couple months ago and when I came downstairs to their wings and their sandwiches I was shocked to see food make me so happy. This place has been a slice of nostalgia for me ever since I first tried it 4 years ago. Keep up the good work!! I never spoke to an employee tho so I can’t attest to their service but their food is great! Thick juicy wings, a fantastic yet unique bbq sauce, and the thickest grilled chicken sandwiches (omg ?)“
