Love Carmen's but was sold a bag of chips with my hoagie that tasted stale & I couldn't figure out why. When I got close to the bottom of the bag I noticed a mouse hole chewed through it. I am repulsed & woke up the next day with a sore throat & feeling ill. Will not be coming back & am pretty upset I ate chips that a mouse was nawing on.

If you show me a scrapple/egg/cheese sandwich on a menu, I don’t need to see the rest. Or maybe I can’t. Came here on a training day with a crew from work. Ordered my sandwich, if only to compare to my local spot. Afterall, what does Jersey know about scrapple? They frikkin know, bud. And the Kaiser roll. I didn’t know bread could be like that. I’ve had pudding stiffer than that bread. It was like a cloud, filled with the melty cheese and juices of the runny scrambled eggs I didn’t expect or know that I needed in my life! The meat! Don’t tell my local place but, soft, thick, moist and piping hot Looking forward to more random DOT drug testing right around the corner from here on benigno. Would otherwise be a rare occasion for me to be in this area, which is my loss. One coworker did mention he asked for cherry pepper relish, and was told that isn’t available because the owner doesn’t like it. You’re gonna have to just imagine the dumb look on my face when he said that ?Disclaimer about the parking: looks like a dead-end street. I could turn a straight truck around in their lot/street with a k-turn, but your mileage may vary.

Even though new owners still retain the name Carmen's it's not even close to the old food and quality you got from the previous owners. Very disappointed ☹️

2 out of three sandwiches on my order were incorrect. Food is delicious but wrong meat on one sandwich, missing ingredients on the other.

I have been hearing about these infamous cheesesteaks and hoagies and had to make my way over. A friend of mine split a cheesesteak and an Italian. Walking in your hit with a family vibe and just smell the vinegar and onions in the air... it is divine. The place was really clean and you could tell they just renovated or added. The staff were really great and for that reason I will be going back. I took a star away because the cheesesteak just wasn't good. Very wet and just saturated the roll and it had cheap wiz which looked like water. Great flavor but that's all for the steak. However, the Italian was terrific. Perfectly portioned for a bite size, and held together very well without falling apart ! I highly suggest their hoagies ! I will be back.

Still one hella Hoagie! But DelBueno ownership should invest in the sit down atmosphere. Why so drab? And just a few tables? Some booths and comfy seats and people will eat more. Is it a parking issue?

Its only Carmen's in name. Don't tarnish your memories, goto some place great like Pal Joey's, the Sicilian Deli, or Somerdale cold cuts. Never again.

First and foremost, this is Carmen's in name and location only. Its not the same owners, the meat is presliced Dietz and Watson meat. It's very salty and to thick. The rolls were not a crispsy seeded roll. They were below average at best. And please don't get me started on the price. $32.00 plus for 2 hoagies. I had a Roast beef and Swiss with too much mayo, no flavor but salt and a good amount of too tough to chew beef. My Son had an Italian with too thickly sliced salty meat, again no flavor other than salt and the same below average roll. He was the only one in the store and the two guys making hoagies took 20 minutes to assemble a sandwhich each with presliced meat and still forgot the mayo and has to go back and add it. He drove out of his way for these only to throw away most of the first half and all of the second half. Overpriced food and low quality meat and rolls. Extremely slow service. There are no pluses here. Please go somewhere else. You'll get better food at a cheaper price.

I have ordered from this Carmen's more than ten times and let me tell you that they have messed up the order EVERY SINGLE TIME. Literally not one time have they managed to put the correct items that I ordered in the delivery. Honestly not sure why we keep ordeing from a place whose management is so utterly incompetent that they cannot get their employees to chek a ticket before sending out an order. Today we ordered four sandwiches and only got two of them. Never ordering from thenm again and I would advise you shouldn't either.
