We were greeted ad we entered. The atmosphere is very inviting. Everything we had was suoerb- the bread, the salad, our entrees and our drinks. This was my first visit, but definitely not my last!

The atmosphere is a pleasant with a classy but simple decor. The hamburger and eggplant lasagna were excellent. The chocolate cake and caramel bread pudding are suggested for dessert.

My experience began as soon as we arrived. we were kindly greeted and assisted by 2 hostesses . Then we were sat within seconds & once we settled in, the waiter took our drinks and appetizers. Throughout our dine, the waiter and team rushed to our needs. Overall a great experience. I will be returning. Thank you

This is our new go to! We love it! Lobster roll and lobster Cobb is amazing! But please please fix the calamari, mainly legs and the Mayo sauce is horrible, plate of Mayo. We love calamari. Everything else was amazing

The restaurant is nice but the food needs some improvement. The appetizer “chicken pops” were extremely chewy. The turkey club was delicious but I wish the bacon was crispy and not undercooked. Also, the rice on the chicken shawarma bowl seemed like it was microwaved to the point it was chewy and stuck together in clumps.

I love this place. Located in the Embassy Suites hotel it's just so good! I love the menu, it's not an overwhelming variety, but touches on just enough. Phil assisted with our meal service, he is so cordial and his experience and demeanor shine.

Grain & Cane was a good choice for brunch. They opened at 11am so we were one of the first tables to be seated. Our waiter was not all that enthused to be working or at least that's how it appeared to us. He rarely stopped by and while all the other tables got some sort of banana bread or something (hard to tell from a distance), we got nothing. The drinks were excellent. And the drink selection takes up 3/4 of the menu, so that's clearly the focus here. I had an excellent bloody mary and a fantastic after brunch cordial. I wish I thought to take a picture of the menu - but it was aromatic, smelling of oranges and apricots. The food on the other hand was okay. I had the brisket Banh Mi sandwich with fries. The fries were greasy and not at all appealing. The sandwich itself was good, but you would have been hard pressed to identify it as Banh Mi unless you knew you ordered it. One little sprig of cilantro, no crunchy pickled vegetables like daikon or carrots, and to be honest, the brisket was a bit on the dry side. A totally meh situation. My wife had a mushroom bar pizza that was quite good. Our friends ordered the avocado toast with salmon which she said was good, not great. And her husband had the lobster roll. He's a huge lobster fan and he said it was also good, not great. So, if you're going for drinks and snacks - perfect. If you're looking for a foodie destination - you can skip it. One note: the parking lot all around the restaurant is being ripped up. Don't come in via Connell Drive from Plainfield. Go in from Valley Road. And the tote board is a lot of fun. They put up different quotes, and many of them are quite entertaining. My personal favorite was "Chocolate doesn't ask silly questions. Chocolate understands." So true.

We took the grand kids. It's their favorite restaurant. Great kids menu. For the adults, even without kids, it's great. We live out of town and when we visit family in NJ it's always in the list. Drinks are excellent. Wine list good. Apps, entrees and specials are always well prepared and and satisfying. The chefs do a great job here as do the servers and runners. This is a well run restaurant with excellent food and a great place to hang out.

Burger is one of the best i’ve had and tried it last year. It was so memorable that we came back on a trip to get dinner and stay at the hotel. Takes a bit of a while for the food to come but worth it.

Food way over priced for portions, the pizza could crack obsidian stone with how well done it is.
