Want to love this old school Italian with brick oven pizza. Ordered many times for takeout and was always decent. Sometimes mediocre but haven't hesitated ordering takeout (though I do prefer takeout from Coppola on Central Ave in New Providence). Dined in last week and was very disappointed. Certainly don't want to yuck someone's yum, but I'll pass next time. And I hate to rail what I imagine was a bustling byo restaurant in it's day but, sorry Marcello's, there are so many better byo/full bar options within a mile. ☹️

We came here on Thursday evening for a quick dinner, it’s a sizable but cozy Italian restaurant, with variety of pizza and pasta choices. The pizza is great and come quick, not like other Italian restaurant where we were waiting over 45 min. The pizza is crispy and coming with dried tomato and heavy cheese. We also ordered Filetto Francese, company with vegetables, the gravy is a bit salty, but we still enjoy it. The service is excellent, the waiter is very caring and asked frequently if we need anything. We will definitely come back! BTW, the price is very affordable:)

Our group of 18 senior citizens went there for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon expecting to order from their lunch menu. To our shocking surprise, they refused to let us order from their lunch menu. We had to order from their dinner menu which was priced much higher. They said our group is too large for lunch menu price. We had checked their website before we went and there was no mentioned of such rules and we went there anticipating ordering from the lunch menu. They also rquired us to pay in cash individually, no credit cards because our group is too large. Some of our members did not bring enough cash and had to borrow money from each other. We complaint to the server about this and he got really offensive and treated us very poorly after that. This place is a scammer, caught us by surprised with no advanced warning. We all said we will never go back there again. They just lost a large group of potential customers.

Marcello's Ristorante is nicely decorated with a cozy dining room. We both had the delicious Manicotti it came with a salad and bread. All in all it was a good experience, the price was a little more than other places, but it was worth it. Next time we'll bring some wine. ??

Husband and I stopped in for dinner, we have been here several times but last night was our last! Waiter was very rude for no reason! They weren’t busy as we were the only ones there, this wasn’t the first time he was rude! The owners were also there at another table and every other word coming out of their mouths was the F Bomb….YOU DON’T DO THAT IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS! As far as the food, the calamari tasted like rubber like it came frozen out of a box, all the edges of my stuffed shells were burnt! I could get a better dinner at Olive Garden, very disappointed
A couple of friends and I decided to try Marcellos last night. Unfortunately, the place was empty, but we opted to stay anyway. The waiter seemed annoyed that we were there, and he was not very pleasant. At one point we asked him for bread as he was walking away, he did not acknowledge that he heard us. When he returned to our table I asked nicely if he could bring us some bread and he snapped back “it’s in the oven.” He became more pleasant as the evening progressed but he definitely did not enhance our dining experience. My eggplant Parm was good but nothing to rave about. I like the atmosphere, it’s a charming little restaurant but I will not be going back.

Never seen such a behavior anywhere around. She was just being cheerful and a lil loud but totally under control. The server told her to be quiet..”keep quiet” in a stern voice. YOU CANT RIP OFF PROPLE’S MONEY WITHOUT A CALID EXPLANATION OR A DISCLAIMER!!We didn’t leave a tip. He called us asking why didn’t we leave a tip. It’s surprising that he had the audacity to ask after how he had been treating us. We didn’t say anything and started leaving and that’s when he screamed..” DONT COME HERE AGAIN”!! Are they racist or they generally treat people like trash. A BIG NO from us. Please eat pizza and pasta somewhere else as there are many good Italian restaurants in BH that serve with a smile.Kid-friendliness: NOT AT ALL KID FRIENDLY. They will shout on your kid if they are being playful just like a normal toddler being him/herself. I went twice in one week. The food was far better than any Italian restaurant I've ever been to. I had Flounder and Linguine Francesca and it was great. I also had the Long hots which were amazing. Very comfortable spot. Great antipasta and bread. BYOB. Great service.

Beautiful weather for outdoor sitting and they provide umbrellas for shade. I loved their menu choice and the food was amazing! Surely, I’ll visit again!

With DoorDash I had a problem as I got a different pizza then I ordered. I called the restaurant and they immediately gave me future credit and gave me beautifully baked pizza after a few weeks when I ordered to ensure customer satisfaction. Ethical restaurant.
