Food is good, environment outstanding and pricing is moderate. What more is there to say, a fine luncheon experience for our choice to celebrate 37 years of marriage. Been there before intend going there again after some 30 years of a Basking Ridge resident.

We haven't been here since when this switched over. The service has improved, and the food is much better. It wasn't that crowded, so we really hope it works out. The place is great and the view is spectacular!!

Food was very good and the menu had great options and variety. While the service was attentive and the wait staff were nice, they all seemed not very polished and somewhat fumbling and awkward for what I expect from a restaurant at a country club in Basking Ridge. The wait staff was stumped when we asked about decaffeinated tea options, but very sweetly brought out a Lipton tea bag to see if we were ok with it. I am not a tea snob but I would expect Lipton at a diner but not at a more upscale restaurant like 26 Tavern. Overall a good experience for a casual dining experience, but I would not recommend it for special occasions.

Food was horrible. It was soo awful.Cheesesteak eggrolls were extremely dry.Calamari was so crispy it was petrified and salty. Burger was disgusting and soggy.Grilled cheese was so gross it was inedible.Fries were so overdone. My husband felt sick afterwards. We felt ripped off.Will NEVER EVER go there again.

WOW! I cannot say enough amazing things about the service and the food here at 26 Tavern! We came for brunch with 12 people, and Laura and Roger were fabulous with service, accommodating our requests and making all of our drinks. The Bloody Mary bar is such a great added touch and everyone we were with loved the food! Highly recommend the Chicken and Waffles.
possibly there worst service I've ever had, had to wait 15 mins to get a drink after I ordered it with 2 bartenders and a half full bar , the wait staff is all Spanish and I'm not sure their grasp of English is great , The Chicken Milanese was good, the burger was a little overdone but tasty, the pork chop was overcooked . YOU HAVE TO DO BETTER, Needs a floor manager who is aware of what is going on
