Imagine you are from the future and you hate pizza and you open a pizza place to deter and ruin it for anyone considering eating it. This is Chianti. I have had plenty of bad meals and never left a review. This was special. I've never seen such disdain for a simple meal in my life. The pizza was half cooked and thin so it was basically cheese soup. I've never seen such large cut vegetables so it was like someone threw a room temperate salad on top. Missing some of the ingredients. Zero seasoning. It's hard to mess up a pie this badly. The service was ok but but spacey at best. The place is unbelievably loud, bright, and feels like eating at the airport. I don't get it.

Stopped for a late lunch passing thru the area. The gnocchi was excellent and is house-made. Pizza was also fantastic. Just the right amount of light char to the crust.

We live in the area and heard about this place from friends. This was our first time here. Ordered pizza, ravioli, salad and steak. We were sharing the salad&steak with my husband. The steak was supposed to be “medium well” but it was literally burnt outside. I could not continue after a while although I tried to finish it. Dont know how my hubby was able…Gave the feedback to the waitress she was very kind to say she will share this with the chef.The bill came as if everything was normal, and I requested a discount or some sort of a courtesy. She said she will call her manager.A guy with a strange manner came and said he could not take it off the bill because we almost finished the steak. I tried to show the black crust on the remaining piece, he even didn’t bother to look at it. No courtesy in any shape or form. Very unpolite…Probably the first and our last time there!(I wish I had a photo, but I forgot)

Professional Wood fired Pizza and Italian food. You can tell all ingredients are fresh. The wood fired pizzas are delicious. I tried 2 and wished I could try them all. The chicken Milanese is one of the best I’ve had in NJ. The mushroom truffle soup is amazing. Overall all the food I had was great and I would love to go back and try everything else on the menu. Quaint restaurant , friendly fast service.

Finally had a chance to get here, and we were excited to try the wood-fired pizza options. We tried one of those, and a regular pie. The regular pie was decent, a typical NJ pie. Sauce was good, and plenty of cheese. The "wood-fired" pizza was a little disappointing. Not really different from the one cooked in the regular pizza oven. Is there wood in the "wood-fired" oven? Looked like a piece or two, but it's not hot like a true wood-fired oven, nor does it have the typical charring, etc. Folks were very friendly, and the prices weren't terrible for the area.

Kind of disappointing. Expected a lot from the wood fired pizza based on pictures and reviews and it just didn't deliver. The crust was just OK and didn't scream wood fired by any stretch. The sauce and cheese wasn't overly special either. They do have regular (not wood fired) pizza so maybe I'll try that next time. My theory always is, if you can't get your namesake dish right, that's a problem. So, nothing objectionable, just not overwhelming.
